The potential of this place just got greater. The design and comfort of the lobby is great! Old school comfort with a modern twist. Staff is gracious and professional. Location - 5 Sonoma is a small town and this hotel is just on the outskirts, literally just less than a mile away from the square. You can easily take a...

Our group booked 3 rooms 5 months in advance and were warned that remodeling would be occurring. Upon arrival we were relieved to see a nice looking place and a quite stunning lobby. As we checked in, we were told they did not have our reservation until the next day. We showed the guy at the desk emails acknowledging our...

My new wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon road trip and we both thought it was a really lovely place to relax. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the hospitality of the staff however had to move on to San Francisco. We would definitely stay again and in fact would prefer to stay...

This place was in a good location and the separate little cottage was designed well but it is so very in need of an update. New bedding, new blinds ( I would do some beautiful drapes instead of the blinds that did not even shut), new paint, new tile in the shower, get rid of the old carpet and new...

We had a wonderful and quiet New Years Eve here. Beautiful rooms with fireplace, whirlpool tub and free wine tasting. Great bar and beautiful grounds throughout. Service everywhere was outstanding, especially at check in where some of the most professional staff can be found. The Bistro on property was also special with great service and delish menu!

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel. My experience was a let down because this property was a Renaissance. So I'm sitting in the bath tub sipping on Decoy Merlot reading The Navigator magazine. As I'm reading every article about the excellence and upscale experience you get at staying at a Renaissance around the world, I came...

I love this property - I love how close it is to the downtown area of Sonomoa, and the fact they have a shuttle that goes back and forth is nice if you don't want to make the one mile walk to town. It is close to many tasting rooms, hiking areas and great restaurants. I will certainly be back!

This is a nice property, with a good location to downtown Sonoma, but less good for visiting Wineries throughout Sonoma (getting to Healdsburg, Sebastapol, etc...). There is a really nice wine tasting every night and the staff is really good. That said the rooms are dated - really dated - so not worth the current rates.

As a resident of San Francisco we plan weekend getaways to Wine Country about 2-3 times per year. We've stayed all around the Napa/Sonoma/Calistoga/Healdsburg area and this was our first time at the Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort. I had gone on a girls day at the Raindance Spa so I had it on my radar, and we were looking...

I was recently here for a very quick, 1 day wine tasting in Sonoma. The hotel was beautiful with great rooms. Our room even came with a fire place but I am not certain that is standard. This was planned on a whim, so we did not have our day mapped out. Luckily the lovely concierge recommended 2 lovely wineries...
