Nothing fancy here, but if you're looking for a nice, neat place to stay that's in close proximity to Sonoma Plaza (you will want to drive here) with a good swimming pool and a good basic breakfast service, I recommend this place. It feels like an old chain hotel that has been given a face lift. Nice attitude at the... More

The inn made me think of something you would have driven up to without a reservation and stayed at in the 70s. The rooms were okay. Nothing fancy. They were clean. A little dark. The staff was friendly. The breakfast buffet was small but nice as the food was fresh. Much better than something you would get at a Hampton... More

It's certainly a motel, but a perfectly fine one. My husband and I stayed here as the base for exploring Sonoma two nights. Rooms were decent-sized and clean, albeit a bit dated. It did appear we were given the handicap room, which was a little strange. Breakfast was good and fresh, and the place is situated in a nice spot... More

Hubby and I loved El Pueblo Inn so much during our last visit to Sonoma that we decided to stay there again. The front desk staff is friendly, the grounds are beautiful (my favorite spot is where the lovely poppies are planted out front), and the accommodations were comfy and cozy. We appreciated the toiletries provided and the overall cleanliness... More

This was an excellent choice. We had the little suite which was a sitting room big enough for two single sofa beds and a crib, and a good sized king bedroom. Beds were comfy, everything was clean and there were nice toiletries and biscotti in the room. Bik, the night manager, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The... More

We loved El Pueblo Inn. The gardens right outside our room were so beautiful and relaxing for a stroll, the breakfast surpassed our expectations, and the room with its brick wall was very clean and attractive. Our favorite inn of the trip, by far!

really delighted with this place. Ultraclean. Nice garden and pool. Breakfast was far more than expected. Don't want to oversell it because it is a three-star hotel but was very happy with it. Would certainly stay here again.

Friendly helpful staff who know the area well, good location just off the main road through Sonoma county and the wine country, great free wifi, and really incredible breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and quiche along with the standards. About a mile from the town square, but a pleasant walk. Great taqueria across the street open for lunch and... More

During a 2 night stay, we found the place very relaxing, clean, and convenient. Off season, it was quiet. The breakfast exceeded our expectation with a nice variety ---- including lots of fresh fruit. The garden is very nice, with a large fountain. Decor is slightly dated, but the beds were comfortable. Good value overall.

Loved our stay in this well managed family owned hotel/motel. Roomy squeaky clean suites and terrific continental breakfast includes a different marvelous locally baked quiche each day. This will be our place in Sonoma from now on. Good rates and very friendly staff. Short ride or a 2 mile walk into town.
