My room was in really good state, and it was quite clean as well. It's a quite nice motel to sleep in, in which I've stayed for a week. The reception is very friendly as well. The location is quite convenient if you want to visit the national park areas. Bonus: there's also a swimming pool, although it is a... More

The room was very clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend it to my friends as well as to stay there again. The pull out bed was a nice surprise and I liked the window in the bathroom.

There are a lot of negative reviews for this, but most of them are from 2014. Comparing what they reviewed and what we experienced I was pleasantly impressed with the improvement. The rooms are quite dated but everything inside worked; the coffee maker, the TV was new, the beds aren't bad, and they even have a nice couch! It probably... More

this is my second review for the Gold Lodge hotel. When we first visited there were several things wrong but this last time was very different. While the building is still old and seems outdated the rooms have actually been improved. Here are our observations: We stayed at a room with two queen beds that was quite large, it had... More

This place is neither Gold nor a Lodge. It is a typical motel. We stayed in a remodeled room which was a mix of old furniture and an attempt at new. The shower was powerful and clean. The hot tub was fenced off with horrible fencing and the pool had empty beer cans and solo cups completely surrounding it. I... More

We opened the room door to find no less than 12 flies buzzing around. We immediately went out and bought a fly swatter. When we got back, we noticed there was a 2 inch gap to outside around the wall mount air conditioner, which we were very glad worked. It took a full 10 seconds holding the handle down on... More

I stayed to tie a business trip to a weekend in Yosemite & surrounding area. And while it is what it is: a cheap motor lodge, don't expect much. It's clean. And the staff is perfectly friendly and accommodating. But it's pretty clear who their regular clientele is. Disclaimers everywhere about charges for stolen and damaged property. Cigarette buckets outside... More

We rented 44 rooms here for major events at fairgrounds. There are new beds in most units as well as hardwood floors and flat screen TVs. Improvements in the works. They have the pool fixed and it is very clean. NOW PLEASE..have your helpers haul off trash!!!! The rear units have mountains of garbage out front and it ruins the... More

Pulled in, late one evening for some shut-eye before heading on to Yosemite. No problem with vacancy: we turned out to be their only guests. It's a pretty typical, rundown, 1950s style motel that doesn't look like it's had a lot of upgrading since its inception. If you're looking for an authentic, backwoods, American road trip experience, right out of... More

The staff was very nice and the motel was clean, but a bit old and run down. The bed was very hard and there was no clock. The TV worked well, but you had to turn the set on manually. The shower floor was very slippery, but the heat lamp was wonderful. We passed on the breakfast because there were... More
