Our experience was good even with the Hotel under construction. The rooms are being remodeled and look great. The only problem was the inconvenience of the contractors working inside and outside of the Hotel.

Call the hotel and request the shuttle. It runs freqently , but calling the hotel may expedite it and help make sure you are at the right pickup location. Make sure you catch the right shuttle there are other LaQuinta's... More

You can: I've done it, and I was sorry. The conditions are SO poor in that motel that you'd feel sorry for your worst enemy staying there, and it's not in a very nice neighborhood. If I hadn't already paid a non-returnable... More

Hi Matt. Do you still have photos of your stay at the La Quinta in San Francisco? They were the only place I could leave my car for 10 days....for an additional $80. I booked the beginning of last year and just started reading reviews which are horrible!!! I booked my reservation through parksleepfly and will never use them again. They never mentioned there was a $50 hidden fee that they collected. I called this morning to see about switching to a king bed instead of 2 doubles and they said it couldn't be done, I asked about the free 10 day parking offered now and was told it couldn't be done, I requested to be put in the main building after learning they had 2 unattached buildings and I was pretty much told it couldn't be done. My cruise is in September so they have plenty of time to make changes. I will be traveling 12 hours to get there and really don't want to experience what everyone seems to be experiencing in the other building. I am also a light sleeper, in my 60's and don't want to have to climb over railroad tracks with heavy luggage. I was told I can cancel my reservation and book again at a higher price.....Thanks for any help you can offer. Denise
