I have stayed one night twice in this location. First stay, the FOH was getting trained, focus was on checking me in the computer. Second visit, quick check in process, friendly staff, forgot to write my room number nor mention it to me, good thing I saw in app after parking. $18 on site parking either open next to hotel entrance, or in a gated covered lot. The room has a modern look with the vanity separating the bedroom and bathroom. The 1 king bed room has frosted walls/doors with no locks for the shower and toilet, not a fan of the frosted look because it does not look clean for me. The vanity had motion sensor lights on the bottom. The shower has both a shower head and has a rainfall shower system - pressure was both appropriate, strong for the shower head, moderate for the rainfall. Behind the vanity, facing the bed was a floor to almost the ceiling mirror - still don’t know how I feel about this haha. I do like the modern feel. The bed felt comfy. The room could be cleaner. There were some hair strands next to toilet and there were a couple under the duvet. There was a green stain on the water flush and a dried visible stain on the counter by the sink - we typically bring cleansing wipes to clean our room regardless but cleanliness definitely could be better. Great sized tv and desk available as a working space.
Side note: it’s right next to 10 Butcher’s which is an upscale kbbq place pricey but yummy!👍

Then you're in the right place, because they put the expensive ham slicer (I was told it's specially for ham) right up front. But what if you don't like ham?
I think you'll still like it here. It's a new hotel, so it's hard to fault them on anything. A lot of the layout is definitely awkward. For instance, if you want to use the bathroom on the first floor, there are several, huge, single-occupant bathrooms by the elevator to choose from. The corridors felt castle-like to me, but the weather was grim outside, so it may be brighter when it's sunnier out.
The room was nice. They're doing the barn door thing for the bathroom, which I can't stand, but it's a trend in hotels, so I can't fault them on that. The bathroom was comfortable and pleasant. I liked the flooring, the TV, and the bed was nice.
The staff were great. Very pleasant. They were willing to listen to me wind on while drinking beer, so they certainly get a patience award.
Location was pretty good. There is some stuff across the street, including a fast food Indian restaurant, a discount clothing store, and a CVS, plus some other restaurants nearby. So you're not stuck with piling into the car every time you need something.
Oh, and about the car: they charge for parking, something like $15, so that's one reason why only 4 bubbles. I refuse to pay for parking in a suburban area like this, especially when nearby hotels (and we've stayed in a few) do not charge, so I found a spot on a neighborhood street. It was especially frustrating here because, in some of those prized parking spots at the back, they had left several cherry pickers parked that did not move in the time we were there.
I know Silicon Valley hotels get crazy during the week. We came at an off time and paid in points, but I would pin the place at about $200 normally. That's what I would expect to pay, at least. But it worked well for what we paid, and I think we made a good choice in where to stay for the quick getaway.

Thank you colinaz for the robust and insightful review; I'm sure many future travelers will find your commentary very helpful and we'd like to add a few additional tidbits in response: The Berkel slicer at the center of the AC Hotels experience is indeed for a daily breakfast offering of hand sliced, artisan domestic prosciutto. If you don't like ham, no problem, there's a variety of other beautifully curated offerings for all dietary needs/preferences. Our guest rooms are thoughtfully designed and we receive great commentary on the efficiency and use of space. We do have a variety of bathroom configurations and one without the barn door style may be more to your liking for your next visit. Did you happen to try the newly opened 10 Butchers Korean BBQ adjacent to the hotel? There's also a fan-favorite In-n-out across the street - easy walk to many options. Many hotels will hide the cost of parking in their daily rate but we feel that you should not have to pay for something you don't want. So we'll have a secure, well-lit space to park your car if you'd like the convenience but there are other options as you pointed out. Thanks for the feedback and see you next time!

We got our room and the toilet seat had urine on it. My husband wiped it with toilet paper thinking it may be water, but eew, no. They changed our room immediately, but just set the tone. Unlike other Marriotts during this roadtrip, there wasn't a packet of disinfecting wipes in the room. Our original room was likely for 2 people, like us. the bathroom had a pocket door. the room we got moved to was likely for 1 person because the toilet and shower were in two stalls with frosted doors that did not reach the ceiling. I'll have to see if this is characteristics of AC Hotels. Overall, this million miler is not impressed.

Good location on El Camino. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is new, so the rooms are modern and well appointed, the bathrooms are quite nice and the toiletries are by Korres. That said, the rooms are small and noise from the hallway is a nuisance.

Stayed at the hotel for work and it’s excellent! Great location with many restaurants and shops nearby, new and clean room and most importantly of all, the staff were amazing, and so accommodating. I love it that they actually have a very efficient courier collection service - they obviously know that a lot of us do a lot of online shopping in USA. Breakfast was delicious and is only $16. I have nothing to complain and will definitely stay here again.

First the staff was amazing and helpful. Room was clean, modern, and lovely. My only beef is how hard it is to tell if there is or is not breakfast included. Checking in the app says I have an option for breakfast or points or food credit but apparently the breakfast option is not an actual option. I'm sure the AC hotel knows that this is a deal breaker for some travelers and they obviously don't see that as a problem. I'll give other properties more consideration in the future.

Nice and modern hotel on El Camino Real.
Rooms are wide and well equipped, very clan and comfortable.
Service is kind.
We were also able to charge our EV in the garage below the hotel.
Breakfast is served in the hotel hall and it is possible to enjoy a nice gym/fitness area

We stayed here this past weekend for a birthday party with friends. We chose it because they allowed us to bring our dog & was close to what we needed. First the positives: the place is very clean, modern, there is a huge TV in the room and great location. Also the bed was comfortable and when I asked for extra blankets they were brought right up. The negatives: the bar is closed. You can't even sit in the lobby & have a drink. Also the lobby is freezing so we asked about having the wall fireplace turned on & was told it didn't work. There is a little area in the back to take your dog and it was out of bags. Also they have an area in the lobby where there are snacks for purchase. There was hardly anything there. Not stocked up at all. There is no carpet in any of the rooms so nothing to muffle the sound. We could hear every word from the neighbors. The place was ok but nothing great. Probably won't stay again.

Nice hotel - very modern and clean. Gym was well equipped. Check in and out was smooth with ample parking space. Breakfast was enough with good selection and you can request your choice of coffee. Only stayed a night and hence not sure if there is daily housekeeping.

Stayed for 5-days as part of a business trip.
Front desk check-in was swift and easy. Checkout was also fast.
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
I even had a package that was shipped to the hotel. The package arrived after I had checked out. The hotel staff were very helpful in helping me ship the package (back to the UK).
Also the front desk team extended my checkout, without any charge, due to my delayed return flight.
My room was modern and the bed comfortable.
Breakfast service was simple and straightforward. Although busy at peak periods - between 7:30am to 8:30am but the staff were accommodating and helpful.
Special thanks to Blake Chastain and the team.
You and the team all went the extra mile, to make my stay both relaxing, and problem free.
I now recommend this hotel to all my colleagues who visit our Sunnyvale office.

It's been a couple months since I visited but it wasnt when I was there. If their website doesn't tell you, I would then just call the hotel directly.
