I stayed there a few days ago and I really liked. It had a mini fridge and a microwave. The bed was really comfy and the heater worked very well. Yes, it had the outdated tube TV, but, really, are you there to hang out and watch TV and a movie? Location right on the main drag can't be beat!...

The Tahoe City Inn has comfortable rooms. Everything works well. The beds are fairly comfortable. I stayed in Room 13 with my wife and two grown boys. The heater worked just fine, coming from a warm place in India, this was really appreciated! On weekends breakfast is included. It is not fancy but quite adequate. Many eating places are close...

The room was remodeled, and everything was modern and clean. We give it a 3-Star rating. The price was a little high, but it was ski season, and we wanted to be near the ski resort. Light sleepers might have trouble sleeping with the air/heating device, though. It was noisy.

If you're looking for a clean place to stay a few nights with a decent bed, free breakfast and WiFi and centrally located at Lake Tahoe's North Shore, this is your place. The Safeway store is right next door, so are coffee shops and all kinds of eateries and other shops. All in easy walking distance. So is the shore...

Was looking for an inexpensive place for a 2 night romantic getaway. Mixed Emotions. This place is perfect as far as location goes. We were centrally located and could walk everywhere. Rented bikes nearby also to get around everywhere else. The heart-shaped bath tub was the next best thing. Although outdated, served the purpose. Added bubble bath and candles(: Third...

one of the worst nights in my travels. This hotel has seen it better days. Low price for Tahoe and you get what you pay for. Room was in need of work. Blinds didn't close, one was cloth, no window screens, needed paint, leaking facet and towel rack about to fall off wall. room was too small for two of...

We stayed here many years ago w/ a then-2 yr old son, and that time only due to price & location. This time, due to the rising rates at the ABVI where we had been staying, we opted to try T.C.City Inn again - it was the ONLY other inexpensive option in Tahoe City less than $200. Also, heard it...

The carpet is nasty , there is no continental breakfast that they advertise . The parking lot is filthy always , the rug at the entrance to your room looks like its never...

The Tahoe Inn's website fooled us. The photos looked good with the jacuzzi and the nice king size bed. Further, it stated to 400 movie selection for free rent. Well, the rooms really need an update. For example, paint blisters of the wall, stains are in the bathroom, and a really old and nasty carpet was not very welcoming. The...

Stayed here on a ski trip January 2013. the hotel is very central located in Tahoe city next to shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly. My room was in need of basic maintenance paint, missing trim etc. I booked the cheapest room and had a huge heart shaped Jacuzzi in the middle of it. The rooms seem to...
