What a wonderful time my wife and I had over the week. We stayed in one of the cottages (308), which was the same one from last year. We did see that they fixed the dead bolt. But the door needs replacing. We did see a construction man replacing the front patio area. Great. Three to go. My wife and...

The service was just ok, one day we had no room service at all. The office not very friendly or helpful. We will only stay in the rooms that have been redone and even then the furniture is starting to look worn.

We decided to travel with our pup at the last minute and was happy to see the resort could accommodate us. Unfortunately, we felt penalized for traveling with a pet. Not only did we get charged $20 extra/night, but we received a below grade room (relative to others we saw) and dcould not access to the property (dogs are not...

Tahoe Sands Resort needs to be upgraded. The rooms and furniture are old and tired. No iron and ironing board in the rooms. The lobby is tired looking. Exterior lawn area needs attention, full of weeds Not worth what they charge per night!

I stayed on the mountain side in a small cabin. I love the lake access, and the resort is modest but really, when you have a beach at Tahoe, how much more do you need? The room was clean and well-stocked. I could hear the people on the other side of the wall, but other than that, I can't complain...

This is a great place to stay. Although the units are older, the resort is in the process of restorations and updates. We always look forward to staying here and especially like that it is right on the beach. The staff are great and always give great service - you will feel very appreciated and welcomed.

An older resort with updated interiors. Right on the lake with great beach . Pool, hot tub, play area, lawn games & BBQ. Great for kids and close to hiking, biking and water sports. Difficult to get quaint single cabins on lakeside during high season.
