We enjoyed the nice breakfast and friendly atmosphere. Situated right across the street from a lakeside park. Steak house is next door. Pool was closed as we were there during the off season but we enjoyed the hot tub. Our rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The inside wasnrecently updated but they kept the great vintage street sign.

Lovely location and superb views across Lake Tahoe - our spacious, comfortable and well equipped room was on the top floor with sliding glass doors onto a small but very useable balcony. Fridge, microwave, coffee making facilities and a small kitchenette with a nice dining table and chairs made for a lovely dine-in evening (with some delicious local produce purchased...

Our room was very comfortable. Liked the big glass sliding doors. Being from the South I was enthralled with the electric fireplace that came on when temperature dropped. It was a most comfortable room and our room was poolside.

If you can get a ticket, don't miss the newest Smithsonian. The 5 hour visit stimulated all my emotions from joy to laughter to tears. All Americans need exposure to black history. This museum is many years overdue. Will visit again next time.

My husband and I had a very pleasant one night stay at the Firelite Lodge. Our room was facing the pool on the second floor, we had partial view of the lake which was beautiful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy but we didn't need any more than what was there. The motel is right across the...

Stayed recently for a week, very clean and well appointed room. Cable channels, excellent wifi. Gracious owner who provided a very good breakfast each morning, boiled eggs, toast, cereal, waffles, and fresh fruit, juice and coffee or tea. Would highly recommend this lodge, although as previous reviewer noted that it can be pricy but you get a lot for your...

Our room on the top floor with the best view of the lake. There are no elevators so you do have to carry your luggage up the stairs. We were fine with that. The room was very spacious and clean and the place was quiet. There are fireplaces in each room but we didn't use it as it wasn't that...
