As I layed awake on the very tiny bed, thinking it must be a double sized instead of a queen, I imagined what I would say about this place. When I pulled the top sheet down - as there wasn't a blanket or coverlet or bedspread - there was human (presumably) hair on my sheets. It looked like hairs from a mans chest, or belly. I didn't see any residue from sweat or other body fluids, or I wouldn't have stayed. The towels were clean, just very few, even for just 2 of us. The potential to be neat was there, the place was very old, perhaps more than 100 years. The bed felt almost that old. It was very loud, very creaky, and much too small for 2 people. The curtains on the windows were much too light of fabric, the outside light very visible. When the cold water side of the faucet was turned on, no water came out. I didn't wait to see how hot it got. My husband said it was a $50 room, and quality doesn't come that cheap. There was parking, a small walk away, seemed to be safe. When I checked in, although I had reservations done on the computer, there was no evidence of me in the computer. The two men behind the counter seemed to have difficulty understanding me and expressing themselves, English not their primary language.

I stayed here in the off season in October of 2016 the hotel was recently renovated bt the new owners. The whole time I was there almost 3 weeks they were remodeling the 2 units on the beach and if not working on that they were making improvements to other areas. They were always helpful with anything we needed i will definitely go back hopefully with my wife for a vacation. The location is great adjacent to the pier and park and right on the beach.

We needed a place to stay for the night. Found this motel online and after dark. The owner is nice and the place is for sale. The grass was tall and needed to be cut, The room did not have any pictures on the wall, the bed was very hard and there was no coffee maker, shampoo, and only 1 chair to sit in. If I would have needed to turn the heater on, I don't know how I would have done that. There was however a little refrigerator and a microwave. I paid less money in a bigger city for a far nicer accommodating hotel. I would not recommend staying here.

This motel is cheap, and "the best deal in town" but you not only get what you pay for, you get a carpet you don't want to walk on, an old caved in bedsprings and mattress, and although the sheets smell clean, they are old too. Didn't want to walk on the floor because the old carpet is fillty and worn out, so we put the bedspread on the floor; the shower was stained and dirty, so we felt creepy about taking a shower there, and worried about sleeping in the beds. We were too tired to look elsewhere, and we should have turned it down when we went in. Needs SERIOUS updating, like maybe with a bulldozer. Spend 20-30 extra bucks and stay somewhere you can get a goods night sleep at. It doesn't pay to be cheap! Sorry to slanderize a business, but really, you can't expect people to stay in something so deplorable.I have to stay the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient.
