Visalia was a stopping point on a travel day between destinations so we had no particular reason to be in one part of town verses the other. The rate for a slow night was reasonable, the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and made sure we understood his directions to a grocery store. We were on the first... More

The services was ok I didn't like that they made me put 125 dep. for a non somling room and I asked for somking room. The location was ok and it was ok for a one night stay. The room needs to be updated.

We had just spent the last 4 hours in the emergency room for a broken leg, and when we arrived at Econo Lodge at 2AM the front desk person was as accommodating as could be. He even suggested we park in the handicap spot and that we wouldn't get a citation for doing so. The AC in the room worked... More

The rooms AC is very noisy and it's impossible to sleep when AC is going on/off all night, also the beds are uncomfortable. They have light sensor so if you wake up at night chances are you are going to wake up your family too. The rooms furniture is outdated, shower head is old and hardly get any water. The... More

Clean, quiet, closed in....but no easy way to power an iPhone. No available plugs near the bed, and the lamp on the desk with an iPhone plug only worked sporadically...in other words, it can't be depended upon. So I'm rating this hotel lower than I otherwise would. I like the roses and other plantings, it gives the hotel a gracious... More

This is a darling and very affordable stop on the way to Sequoia, in a safe area, with clean rooms and an on site owner. We were delighted to find this little gem, and quite bummed to discover that their relationship with Priceline bit the dust over nonpayment. So skip the on line booking and go direct, stay here, sleep... More

Noisy bed, no wifi, automated lights that light up the room with any move, cockroaches, extremely limited complimentary breakfast, all for $77. Cheap price? You get what you pay for. Pass on this one and go elsewhere. There are plenty other motels along 198.

I had booked 6 nights because I'm in the middle of a move from Cincinnati to Visalia. I stayed one night, but wanted to cancel the subsequent nights, one of which was cancelled less than 24 hours in advance. I went to the office to plead my case, but the woman refused to listen. She even went so far as... More

We stayed two nights here and it suited our needs. Fridge and microwave in room, free wifi and tv. Helpful lady at check in. Was good standard compared to others at same price. Plenty of parking and heaps of shops and restauramts close by. Downtown had lots of cool cafes too. Walmart in driving distance. Roselas italian was good for... More
