I normally stay at the Sunset Marquis in WeHo but decided to try Palihouse after a recommendation from a pal. Great location. In the scene but a step back from the action. Funky public area. Large spacious and well designed room with kitchenette. There was a big private party with some recognisable names having fun when I arrived but it... More

I travel to LA a lot for work. I get so tired of hotels. I found the Palihouse in west hollywood and I f-ing love it. It feels like I am coming home to my LA apartment. Super nice, large rooms with a kitchen and sitting area. Super chill vibe. Good decor. Can I just live here? The staff is... More

Spent one night here and immediately was feelin the decor. Very artsy and classic. The evening I checked in there was some type of party on the ground floor and the security seemed too strict. I had a friend stop by to catch up for a few minutes and notified the front desk of this because of the tight security... More

The Palihouse West Hollywood is definately one to ad to your "must stay" list. Palihouse offers beautiful decor, beautiful library, comfortable rooms and amazing hospitality. Emily at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Overall experience a 10.

The title of my review says much of which I wish to share.. I think they have done a lovely job of creating a hip homestyle hotel with flair. Nice touch with the lady sax player on Thu nights in the restaurant. Grain Bowl for breakfast a hit. The rooms are well-appointed. It was overall a great place to stay,... More

I booked a room with Palihouse West Hollywood to treat myself and celebrate in style (I was in LA for the premiere of a movie I worked on). I booked only two nights on the website for the corner suite, as that was all that was available, at the time. It is listed on the website as a two room,... More

We loved our stay at Palihouse. The location is central, our room was clean and spacious, and above all, the service was outstanding. Emily, Joyce and Aiden were very friendly and attentive, and did a wonderful job helping to make my daughter's birthday special.

We came to West Hollywood for a wedding that was being held at Palihouse. We have a new favorite hotel in this area. Upon check in we were upgraded to a lovely apt. Type room. Staff went way out of their way to be helpful. The rooftop is a romantic spot to have a glass of wine and wind down.... More

The hotel is super overpriced and overrated. The worst part is the costumer service. Its been a week since I requested a call from the manager (had to call them twice!), but still no response. We had an accident in the room (a friend of mine vomited on the bed), can happen to anybody, right? So instead of washing the... More

I stayed here for four nights and had meetings on-site so this review is divided into two parts. The hotel stay experience was uneven. First impressions entering the hotel are that you're entering a night club. The door on the street is unwelcoming and the doormat smells bad. This smell is carried into the hallways which are treated with some... More

Staying in West Hollywood

Neighbourhood Profile
West Hollywood
For years, West Hollywood has been known as a hub for the LGBT communities in Los Angeles. Today it still maintains the title, but has also become the “it” neighborhood for the entertainment industry’s up-and-comers. Producers, directors, writers and aspiring actors call this area home. Known for great boutique shopping, vintage clothing stores, home décor shops and fitness studios, West Hollywood is a grid of wide boulevards and narrow residential streets. The neighborhood also has a concentration of the most avant-garde restaurants in Los Angeles (rivaled only by the burgeoning restaurant scene Downtown). A trip to the iconic Sunset Strip, with its many clubs, music venues, hotels and flashing lights won’t be forgotten.
