Detailed Reviews
I was a tagalong with a friend who was on business. This hotel was quite luxurious. Rooms were very clean, great turndown service and maids were very attentive to put an eyeglass cloth with our glasses and they even rolled up our charging cords and put Four Season clips on them. Room was perfect every time we entered no matter what time of day. I don't think I opened a door in a public area once. The bellman were awesome and we also used the complimentary car a few times. But the real draw to this property is the spa and pool area. There is a pool concierge and they tend to your every need. Oscar was giving complimentary foot-to-knee massages and given I had run/walked 8 miles that day - he was my best friend! It was over the top when the waitress asked me if I'd like my sunglasses cleaned. Lunch by the pool and being pampered was fabulous and we even saw a few famous faces!

Had a wonderful stay at the Four Seasons Westlake. You immediately feel relaxed when you walk through the door. The food is delicious, kids had fun in the video game room and at the indoor swimming pool. My husband and I enjoyed walking around the Pagoda and the grounds. The spa Pool is beautiful and has a very relaxing vibe.

We live in LA and wanted to take our daughter somewhere special for a “staycation” birthday for her 10th birthday. The hotel was absolutely incredible in every way. The concierge was so helpful in helping us decorate the room for her birthday and really made my daughter feel so special. The hotel has been recently renovated and the room we stayed in was incredible. We stayed in the waterfall suite with a connecting room. It was spacious and had a lot of room for us. The kids had the best time in the indoor pool and at the arcade. This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate every single one of our needs! We can’t wait to visit again!

We have visited this hotel many times with our children. This will be our last visit. We LOVE Four Seasons!! This hotel is not a real FS and is manged by terrible people who fail to embrace the FS charm and hospitality.
Their failures and poor service are too numerous to count! This stay, we arrived at the pool to find what looked like throw up next to the loungers. There was a used peice of gum on top of our table. Nobody from FS had bothered to clean it up. Finally after an hour there, we had to ask an employee to clean the throw up. Their poolside lunch service was 80 minutes after we ordered. They forgot the salmon in the salad and that took another 20 minutes. Our children were passing out from waiting for a couple of simple kids cheeseburgers to arrive.
After we went to our room, we ordered dinner at 8pm. They took 120 minutes to bring room service dinner for our family of four and kept lying that it would be there is 15 minutes... whereas they brought the order a full extra hour even after we had called to complain that it was already an hour late. What's worse is FS still forgot 2/3 of our order, and then offered us a couple of "cocktails" to make up for their inexcusable blunders. We'd rather just have had our food ( 4 soups) on time and never accepted their offensive " let's give you 2 free cocktails" to forget we've screwed up all day.
The kids/ teen lounge is unhygienic and not cleaned. Half of their video games are out of order, and their pool tables are full of long hair and debris. Their hand sanitizer was empty the whole stay, and was never even checked by FS. This hotel is not up to FS standards any step of the way.
If you're expecting a FS seamless vacay, skip this terribly managed hotel. It's a stressful experience sure to make you feel unrelaxed and wanting to get a real FS hotel experience for your next getaway.
The management is poor and I think it stinks from the top down.

Hands down my favorite hotel to stay in all the world. (And I've been to many hotels around the world).
Four Seasons Westlake Village has all the accommodations and amenities that you would expect from a Four Seasons hotel: beautiful common grounds, great on premise restaurants, and luxurious guestrooms. What sets this property apart, however, is the attention and care of the staff. Whenever I go, I'm not just a "valued client" or a "welcomed guest", I'm treated as someone special and respected, and it shows from how all the staff addresses me and my family. I've traveled there on business trips and it's a great place to rejuvenate and get a good night's sleep. I've traveled there on leisure with my family where the pools are exquisite, the food is delicious, and the rooms are so plush and wide that it makes for a very comfortable stay. There are so many little touches about the property that are worthwhile, but I highly recommend taking a tour of their museum and the entire hotel grounds which are pristine and beautiful and which they make open for all.

This will be our fifth year returning to the Four Seasons for a delightful Christmas stay. We enjoyed the beautiful corner suite, and the grandchildren were greeted with personalized chocolate boxes inside of which were cookies and candies. Also a very special stuffed animal surprise the following morning! The hotel management and staff are excellent, and the Let It Snow event made our visit most enjoyable with special costumed characters, a cookie and stocking decorating event, and s'mores and hot cocoa. Our grandchildren who live nearby look forward to this traditional sleepover, and the Four Seasons Hotel has never disappointed! Highly recommend them for families.

This establishment is a false pretense of a so called 5 star hotel, I was a wedding guest for a wedding block for my stay, and had a big family it seemed like all the people working here were all robots, just giving us a script talking about the hotel amenities and not even being personable. Restaurant was so-so food was cold when delivered over to me from room service, not to mention i stay at many luxury properties and this is at the bottom of my list. Plus they charge so much for parking when across the street they have it free, I inquired this information from the bell boy. Seems like they are scam artists for anything they try gouging your money.

The exterior of the building is quite possibly the ugliest Four Seasons building I have seen. Thankfully the grim facade did not represent the overall experience.
Upon arrival I was greeted and chatted with while the front desk agents worked on the folks in front of them. The hotel appeared very busy with a wedding later that night so it was nice that they were able to be attentive despite the capacity.
The front desk agent who helped me with pre-check in was very sweet. One lady was seemingly exasperated with me when I went back to the front desk to check on my room availability - I wasn't annoyed with it not being ready before official check in time but rather wanted to get an update so that I could make decisions about what to do if in fact it was going to be a while longer. I spoke with JD one more to get a humidifier sent up and he was so lovely and gracious.
I liked the room a lot. It was beautiful, spacious and had a lovely view out to the waterfall. The bathroom was also spacious and I love a good soaking tub plus the bathroom amenities were one of my favorite brands so I was pretty happy. The bed was supremely comfortable and I slept very well my whole stay.
The spa is a destination spa for sure. It was huge and the treatments were very good. The pricing is in line with what you expect for a luxury hotel in the US.
I used the hotel car for an errand in the village and the gentlemen at the front door were quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. The car is only available on a first come first served basis and I was lucky it was available when I requested it.
Food at the restaurant was consistently good but it was disappointing that this was the only eatery open during my four day stay with the exception of the weekend bar being open on my first night.

The rooms at this facility were super nice. It did not appear that the hotel was at all crowded. There were people constantly opening the doors and greeting you.
Room was recentLy renovated. Hotel was super clean.
As a guest you have free access to the dry and wet areas in the spa.
Grounds were immaculate. They had a great area for kids to play golf or soccer and frisbee golf..

I have stayed at more than 1/2 of the worldwide 4 Seasons and I must say that this location feels awkward and does not display the class experience that one is used to from the brand. There has been high turnover and management was replaced in an effort to turn the location around, but they just did not cut the mustard. Cima seems to have experience on paper but lacks drive and dedication to the brand at this stage in his career. He should retire. This location needs a hungry, young hospitality manager that is up to date with today's hospitality trends. A visionary who understands what is hot in hospitality today.
I was very disappointed because I never felt that Four Seasons "red carpet" treatment as one experiences with other locations.
I had several complaints of poor service and brought them to the attention of management and I was brushed under the rug. They seem not to care as much at this location.
The grounds are amazing, but they lack the professional staff to follow through with providing that true Four Seasons Experience.

Dear 1TimeShareKing, First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We take all feedback very seriously. Your review below does not reflect the award-winning service the entire team works hard to provide. Nor does it reflect the spirit of our dedicated leaders who are at the helm of our operation. Not that I've ever seen.
We were there in December and stayed in a fully renovated and spacious corner suite. Most all rooms are being updated, and all are extremely comfortable and tastefully furnished. You can’t go wrong, as it’s a beautiful hotel.
Typically you can cancel up to 24 hours before. I have a corporate rate there too so I can cancel later. You can always reach out to the concierge if you cancel after the date or time. They usually are very flexible to their clientele.
Hi - there are two restaurants and a grab and go with bakery, salads and sandwiches. But don't miss the chef's table if there is one during your visit!!
They are renovating the main restaurant, but there is the Japanese restaurant, and also the restaurant/bar which has nice tables outdoors for dining. Also a restaurant that serves breakfast/lunch/dinner. All are excellent. When needed, you can get the hotel car to take you nearby within 2 miles to any of the Westlake village shopping centers and there are plenty of restaurants.
