This Marriott was in a good location for my needs and the hotel is just a typical Residence Inn. However, the housekeeping was horrible. The first night, we got new towels but she did forget the washcloths, nothing was cleaned or vacuumed. I complained and the next day was better. The hallways were littered with food and debris. I also mentioned it the first night, nothing was done. By the fourth day of looking at the junk on the floor I was just grossed out. I went back to the front desk in the evening and that gentleman came out and vacuumed it himself. There were ground in fruit loops in the elevator as well, which were still there when I checked out. It just makes me wonder about the overall cleanliness of the hotel. I will probably select another hotel next time I need to stay in the Westlake area. I am a lifetime Marriott Platinum customer so I have stayed in many Marriott properties, this one was unacceptable, especially for such a high end area.

Very clean hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to shopping and dining. Large free parking lot. Pool was clean. Free breakfast had nice selection of items and staff very attentive to cleaning the food area and refreshing the food and drink items. Definitely would stay at this hotel again.

My second stay here. First experience was good enough for me to return and this second experience also good. I will return again when in the area.
Nice hotel. Excellent location by shopping & restaurants.
Very clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Great to have the kitchen. The supplied kitchen amenities (dish soap, dish towels, silverware, dishwasher powder, paper towels, bowls, plates, pots, toaster,coffee maker, etc. are all fine. Air Conditioner is noisy but no so loud to interrupt sleep. The problem is the main vent is over the bed and blows right on you while sleeping, so check for that when you get the room, or ask for a room where that isn't the case. Plenty of outlets for charging including USB plugs by the bed. Big desk area. Small eating table. Nice couch and chair for relaxing.
Bed Pillows are awful and collapse into nothing. Took me 3 pillows piled on top of each other to equal a normal pillow. So be sure to ask for extra pillows. Also the dishwasher rack was missing the front wheels and while the dishwasher still worked, the metal where the wheels are missing was rusted leaving rust stains in the dishwasher. That really should be fixed.

On 1/7/22, I booked a 2 bedroom, handicap accessible suite for 10 nights through the website. On 2/8/22, I called this hotel directly and extended the reservation for 3 nights and confirmed that the room was handicap accessible. I showed up at the hotel with my mother and was told that no handicap accessible suite was available, and that the accessible suites had been occupied for over a year. The hotel did not honor our reservation and forced us to find another hotel late at night without a reservation. The hotel did not help us in finding alternate, accessible accommodations. Not only that, the hotel had the gall to charge us for the first night, a charge that of course is being disputed. I would never do business with this establishment. Such awful corporate behavior should not be rewarded.

The Residence Inn in Westlake Village is quite nice since finishing a total renovation. The rooms are nicely appointed and all flooring, paint, furniture and amenities have been all redone and are new! The staff is friendly and attentive and there is plenty of parking around the facility. We did have a minor issue arise and Bailey and Mr. Huerta the GM were not only professional and courteous but quite gracious in resolving the issue and finding an expedient solution. The pool area, workout center and all other amenities including the breakfast buffet in the morning are all a plus. Conveniently located off of the 101 frwy and near many stores, restaurants and local attractions. The Lure Fish House and Cici's are just a few of the excellent eateries next door. The in room TV includes internet access to streaming and Showtime is included in the programming. This is one of our favorite places to stay in Ventura County and the new renovated facility places it on top... Highly recommended

This friendly, clean and comfortable RI is well located in a leafy suburb of Metro LA. Nicely removed from the chaos, it is reasonably convenient to LA/Hollywood attractions (1 hour give or take) as well as Malibu (30 min), Santa Barbara and Ventura (about an hour). It is also convenient to the Reagan Library and one of the closest hotels. There are good restaurants that share a parking lot and a nice shopping and dining area less than a 10-min walk. We found the hotel and the area welcoming and friendly. Very dog friendly although the dog relief area is a bit rough. Standard RI breakfast so you know what you are getting. Rate may seem high, but hey, it’s LA and not unexpected. If I had business in LA, I might stay closer but with 2 cars and a dog, this was the perfect spot (free parking). Definite recommend.

Unfortunately I have given this property 2 chances and they failed me both times. The sheets were old and scratchy and the only heating / cooling is directly over the bed - see photo. I don’t understand why in a room this size the vent has to blow cold air into your face (it was hot outside).
I was compensated for “the inconvenience“ but we left in the middle of the night, literally, just could not sleep in the uncomfortable bed and air blowing in my face!

A good hotel in a centralized location. We had a wedding in Malibu and family staying across the street at the Four Seasons (7 min walk). We had a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen, which was large and clean. A few dings here and there around the room, and the whole property could use a facelift, but overall very comfortable. A little more variety at breakfast would be nice. We had a little snafu with Bonvoy points and a second cancelled reservation. Long story short Jasmine at the front desk was extremely accommodating, refunding our points right away with no questions asked. Mask protocol was not really enforced on guests, nor were the staff leading by example.

We stayed here because we needed a two bedroom near a wedding venue. It was fine. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The two bedroom came with a kitchen and a sofa bed in the living room. Two bathrooms with showers. Soap and shampoo in dispensers in each shower. The place has a small pool and is within walking distance to several eateries. It was not cheap, but it did the job.

Very calm and comfortable for a long stay. The staff are very good and caring especially Mr John at front office who made our stay even note comfortable with his charming personality and helping nature. The rooms are well equipped and come with a workable kitchen. The breakfast is average, but there are a lot of nearby places that you can eat out. Overall a comfortable place.
