We stayed in Castello di Monteguffoni (9 - 16/4/ 2017,apts 30 and 28). We were 2 families: 4 adults and 3 children, and the aftertaste of our stay is... mixed! The place and the location were beautiful and atmospheric, the appartments were spacious and efficiently...More
We enjoyed our stay at this property with our 9 & 11 year old children. The grounds and view from the castle were lovely. Our rooms (La Cupola) were spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was castle-like in that there were not a lot of furnishings...More
My husband and I visited here with our then 4 year old daughter. The castle and grounds are like something from a fairytale. The staff are SO nice, and the rooms are amazing. Spacious, well equipped, comfortable, quirky, clean and beautiful. Although it was too...More

We were there is Sept 2017. The apartments have barely anything in them, especial;ly anything that could be stolen, so I don't think there are hair dryers. I don't use one myself (no hair). There is no TV, no toaster, no groceries, no detergent, no salt and pepper, so stock up EVERYTHING before you get there and have to go out just to get coffee, tea, milk and sugar, and find out everything is shut because it is Sunday, or Monday morning (still shut till 2 pm)
There is a large refigerator, gas cooktop, sink and I think a microwave oven. Hairdryer? Make sure you have an adaptor for your stuff, and an adaptor for Italian wall (female) plug to European (male) pins, which are fatter than Italian holes in the wall - (really), available for 2 or 3 euros in Rome and around, but only in Italy.
Good luck finding the joint. Google maps works well as a GPS, but get an Italian SIM card so you can get online maps. I recommend WIND IT for a data SIM which was reliable and cheap. Use WhatsApp as well.
Good luck driving in Italy.
we brought our own hair dryer and converter. It also would be smart of you to get a gps for central Italy. The directions that we were given had us driving for 5 hours. with the GPS its about 2 1/2 to 3 from Frasceti.
