The camping only has mobile homes. Too many mobile homes on 1 plot, no privacy and you can hear everything. You are cramped on eachother like sardines in a tin. Restaurant and bakery are shut monday and tuesdays, so if you arrive these days you have to go to the shop or go to the local bakery in town, not what you expect from a camping. Playground is small and very very old, not made for young children! Pool needs renovating, they have laid down gross mats which attract a lot of bees so if yiu have young children you have to watch out where they walk or you are easily stung. The camping has obviously been taken over by capfun but needs renovating. There are far better options in the neighbourhood.

I have stayed here since 2012 and used as a stop over on many a trip, it used to be a lovely campsite with lovely owners (if not a bit too direct on occasions), however I had not been since Cap Fun have taken over, it now has static lodges crammed onto every available space with just a few pitches left over for caravaners & campers. It is simply awful! On my visit’s one of the shower/toilet blocks was shut with the open one clearly not being cleaned since the star of the season. It’s way too expensive to use as a stop over now and with that I will never return, what a shame. The only plus is that the pool has had some improvements in terms of a massive slide for the kids.

This was not my first choice, but my favourite site was full. I know that the wet weather didn't help, but the place was boggy, one of the amenity blocks was out of use and the facilities in the one in use were just average. My pitch was muddy and not easy to access. I had to borrow an extension to my (already long) electricity cable. All this I could have put up with - it was for only one night - but the price!! €30!! This was the most expensive by far out of eleven sites used on this trip - and the worst. Others at €10.50 were far better and even the one at Calais, which I had expected to be expensive as it was a mile from the Car Ferry. was less than half the price. Advice to campsite owners: Try harder and reduce prices. Advice to potential campers: Try somewhere else.

Despite very recent reviews, the site is now nice, clean and tidy. I am guessing they realised there mistake! The kids enjoyed the pool. We stayed in a Mercure which was clean and very well equipped, if we stayed again we would hire a mobile home with air conditioning. We used the restaurant and bar and were very impressed with the manager, who worked exceptionally hard but was always polite, friendly and helpful. The food was of a high standard. One disappointing thing was the entertainment. My son, and a number of other French and Dutch children stood patiently in the queue for laser tag, the queue had been set up by the Capfun reps, between a row of two lines of chairs. After 45 minutes of patiently waiting and watching the adults play, the next lot of kids were taken from those not in the queue. This caused a lot of upset amongst the children and adults waiting, but the reps just shrugged. There were a lot of disappointed children!

Dear sir or madam, Firstable thank you for the review. We are glad that you have a good stay with us. For the laser game it was the first time that our animator have made this activity, we are sorry about the waiting and the issues for this game. We will try to make it better for the next time so everyone (children , teenagers, adults) will be able to play. We aree that air conditioning are missing Inside the mobile home. We will try to ameliorate this one in the future. With kind regards.

The lazyness of the new runners Cap Fun can be seen everywhere as the pictures of summer 2018 of other reviewers show it. Otherwise nice place with beautiful trees and flowers. Fresh baquette in the morning and a little pool. Noisy bad behaving children driving bicycle fast, phemomena I haven't seen in Gemany anywhere. After heavy rain mud all around in toilets, cleaning not up to date.

Dear Sir or Madam, The cleaning staff clean the sanitaire every two hours from 6am to 8pm. For the children who drive fast in the camping it is the parents who are responsible not the campsite. They have to watch for their children. Kind regards.
