Basalt is a small, very pleasant Colorado town. The Basalt Mountain Inn sits about exactly in the middle of the town's many attractions - interesting shops, galleries, sporting stores and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of the Inn. This area is a fishing and skiing destination and Basalt Mountain Inn provides clean, affordable, comfortable lodging within easy reach of...

I had never been to Basalt before. Aspen and Snowmass, I have been to many times. And whenever I go there, I stay there, not Balsalt. This time, I was in the area with my son for a couple of skiing at Snowmass and the Basalt Mountain Inn offered a great deal. So we give it a try and I...

My husband has stayed here multiple times for business and for fly fishing fun! We as a family have stayed here now twice and couldn't be more content. The rooms are CLEAN (which is my top priority when traveling) and comfortable. We love the ability to pull right up to the room to unload, the floor plan of the suite...

Cozy, clean and a GREAT location for walking access to restaurants. The manager (sorry can 't remember his name) was a wealth of info regarding activities to do in the area. We will stay at the Basalt the next time we visit the area.

We go to Basalt regularly to fish, and love staying here. It is recently renovated, the rooms are minimal but very spacious, and the location is ideal. There is a complimentary breakfast in the lobby that is better than most chains, and the service was great. Highly recommend staying here.

I wear essential oils and work with them medicinally. I was a regular customer, spending at least 4 or 5 nights at this hotel each month, for the last 4 months, and was told by the owner I could not return, ever. I am clean, conscientious and very low impact on the rooms, and often would rent two rooms from...

After multiple stays from the guest we had to close the rooms for several days and pay to have professional cleaners come and fumigate the rooms because other guests refused to stay in the rooms as the odors were extremely strong and not welcoming. I am sorry that you feel I told you to never come back, I only asked...

It's not the Ritz Carlton, it's just a great little hotel in a great little town near a couple of great trout streams, wish I could go back there right now and catch the evening hatch. Friendly staff.

I have stayed several times in several of the rooms...They are all great and love the showers! The staff is friendly and helpful. Price is good and there are so many things to do close by....Whether it's hitting the slopes , golf, world class fishing and running or just a weekend on the town...Why would you stay anywhere else!!!

We really liked staying here and will return if we're in the area again. Our room was a little austere but spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a parking space right outside the door. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the breakfast was adequate. We loved staying in the center of Basalt and being able to walk...
