This place is very well located, only 50' from the Snowflake Lift . Heated parking with ski looker. Elevator. Very quit on the 3 floor. Management (Mary) was very attentive to our request. Perfect place to ski in Breckenridge
The good: This condo building is setup quite well and the hot tubs are accessible, hot, and clean. The condo we were in (2xx) was actually pretty nice as well and was well equipped with pots/pans, supplies etc. Nothing out of the ordinary. This set us up for what should have been a great stay. The location was very close to downtown (walkable easy with slight uphill on the way back). I think it was 0.4 miles to downtown. The rough: This is simple - our door locks. They were code operated. 4 digits, simple. Should work every time. The same code gets you into the garage and your condo. The issue? The code would not work for 24 hours consistently. Worked the first time, and the second day, then stopped. We called and the team at Summit Rentals was super helpful. They offered to run over right away and unlock. They worked hard to solve it and did, for a few hours. Then the lock wouldn't work again. But they fixed it after a couple of hours and two repair visits. For a day. As we pulled up to the garage the next day, the code would not work. This driveway for the condo is not an area you can easily sit around and wait. It's super small and if you can't get in the garage, you can't park easily or you risk ticketing. So, this is a big issue. I called, got ahold of the management group and within 10 minutes or so they were able to reprogram the code. Then the door did not work...again. This was really getting annoying by now. Another call, another fix. the great news is that the management team was super empathetic and helpful. That cannot however erase the frustration of all these interruptions of our vacation. It was constant. Very unfortunate. It may sound somewhat trivial I suppose, but having to constantly call the management group and wait to get in your door is no fun. It's really . not vacation when you have to work that hard just to keep access. While they were quick to say "sorry" each time, and even eventually offered a hard key which was nice, I still sit here three days after getting home and think - man, that was frustrating. Maybe your trip will be different, I sure hope so. A few other notes: There is a trail nearby which is nice. The windows all opened for a cool evening breeze. There is a stream nearby that provides constant tranquil white noise.…
Tyra IV Riverbend is next to the Snowflake Ski Lift. A true ski in ski out. Great walking paths in the summer. A true year around vacation spot. An easy walk to the Village or the bus stops next to the Building. Underground parking with heated driveway. Units from studio to three bedroom. Ours was beautifully decorated with all the things we need for the week.
This place is very well located, only steps from the Snowflake Lift in Breckenridge. Units are privately owned, so rooms are different and it is difficult to compare them. If you are looking for a great location, this is it. Literally steps from the lift, and ski in from Four O'Clock run - though the snowflake run will take you there, do not take it - take Four O'Clock instead - just bare right and look for the snowflake lift signs.
