We always stay at this hotel, it is a walking distance , about 5 min away from chair lifts to pick 9, which is most friendly for all the skiing levels . It is minutes away from ski school as well . I highly recommend ski lessons for any level if you had almost a year long break from skiing . Ski lessons include lift tickets , it is so much fun and so much cheaper than a lift ticket alone - I was surprised . You will improve your technique tremendously. This time I took 3 days lessons first, amazing results. Pick 9 is the best place to start your skiing techniques upgrades . You will meet a lot of interesting fun people in Breckenridge. And it is incredibly beautiful, with a funky skiing culture too. From this hotel it is only 8 min of beautiful walk to Main Street with plenty of restaurants and shops. If you rented a car to drive to Breckenridge from Denver airport , do not forget to explore a bit and to take mineral baths !! This place has incredible cleansing and invigorating energy, and it’s magic to make you feel so alive . If you are sensitive , high altitudes pull and lubrication eye drops are recommended to keep you most comfortable. Once here , the joy will be unlimited and you will feel unstoppable.

We stayed here for the Hilton points and the location across from the Quicksilver lift, but this is not a ski-in ski-out option. Getting to the lift involves crossing a busy street, hopping over an icy snow pile, climbing a few icy steps, and navigating through a parking lot while carrying your skis. We loved the comfy beds but the dated brown decor made the spacious room a bit cavelike and depressing. The design of the hotel is quite frustrating because the only elevators are at the far ends of the hallways, a distance of about two football fields just to get to the lobby, each way. Breakfast options are limited and expensive at $17 for a continental breakfast, although there is a takeout counter for muffins and coffee. The bright spots were the friendly housekeeper from Jamaica and the kind young man at the front desk who went the extra mile to help when my husband left his briefcase in the shuttle van. We had an enjoyable reunion with friends here, but if I would investigate other options if I return to Breckinridge.

Stayed here for 5 nights in March 2020 as a Hilton Diamond member. First off, the hotel staff is fantastic, from the valet guys to the front desk, to housekeeping. The hotel was built in stages and we were put in the far reaches (room 805) which required first walking a very long hallway (in ski boots!), then riding a tiny elevator (with ski's and luggage), walking another serpentine hallway to a second elevator (larger), then finding our room. Try doing this multiple times a day, and you'll end up cursing the architects just as we did. The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping is great. The hotel does not allow self-parking, so you are extorted a whopping $38.00 per day to store your car. If you go, demand a room close to the lobby and save your aching shins from stomping miles to get to your room after a long hard day of skiing. I know they can't change the architecture, but you can manage it by requiring a close-in room.

My wife and I took a couple of days to get away to Breckenridge kind of on a whim. It was amazing! The hotel was great. Everything was clean, neat, and tidy. The parking garage is pretty tight and we have a very large pickup truck. The attendant that met us outside was great and accommodated us with one of their oversized vehicle parking spots outside of the garage. Kudos to him for taking away my concern on this matter! All staff members that we interacted with were great. They were friendly and professional and I'd definitely stay here again.

Last week, my daughter and I stayed at the DoubleTree in Breckenridge and can't say anything negative about the hotel. The rooms are large and clean. The receptionists are very helpful and our requests (changing the bedding to allergy free bedding, bringing a microwave to our room for my daughters prepared food due to her gluten and dairy allergies) were done in no time. The hotels location is so convenient to the lift - its takes you 3 minutes to walk across a small parking lot to be on the slopes. We will be back next year!

We stayed here this Summer for one night. We are Hilton Diamond members and I have already reached out to Hilton to complain. The management of this hotel never contacted me about the stay. I had a list of 10 things that were lacking. 1. No AC, which wouldn't be a big deal except the windows in the room only opened 6 inches. Also, the curtains opened from the opposite side of the window and were one panel, so when you opened the curtain to let air in, the window opening was covered. The room was 80 degrees at 10 pm. got down to 76 in the morning. had to drape the curtain over a chair to have some privacy and airflow. 2. I asked for adjoining rooms when I made the reservation and was told that was possible, but when I checked in no effort was made to make this happen. 3. Breakfast was terrible. We ate the hotel restaurant buffet which was cold (we arrived 15 minutes after they opened) drinks and yogurt were expired. 4. Staff was not helpful at all. If you are a Hilton honors member stay at the Hampton inn in Silverthorne, so much nicer and staff is exponentially better.

As a Hilton member, expected more from this property in Breckenridge! We were looking forward to staying close to Peak 9 lifts. Reserved 2 mountain view rooms for family/friends of 8 members. They had to switch our reservation because of a non-functional elevator. Had to go with 1 room with town view (highly disappointed). Elevator was small and slow and often had lines to get on. Rooms were spacious BUT, very worn and outdated (old furniture and terrible carpet). Town view room bathroom/toilet was not clean, and the sinks and toilets in both rooms drained/flushed very slow (very unsanitary). Front desk staff was unprofessional (really should not be chomping away at a bag of snacks with line of guests at the counter). One positive however, the Lobby cleaning staff was always mopping and drying the floors (very helpful). Probably will not stay or recommend this property to anyone...Out of respect for the beautiful location, Hilton should really shut down and revamp the property.

As a Hilton diamond member I have stayed at many Hilton properties in the US and this one by far was the worst. At best a 2 star.
1. No room upgrades even though hotel was not fully booked and I got an email the day before requesting an upgrade charge. Trust me I checked the dates and expedia, hotwire, hilton direct all had rooms which fit the upgrade. Josh the manager kept repeating it was competely booked and it was Christmas week. Ok, from past experience Christmas week starts Dec 26 not Dec 20-23. We have stayed in Breck this week for years.
2. No working pool
3. Hot tub did not have any towels for guests
4. No cleaning of rooms even though I called and requested housekeeping
5. No shuttle to town or ski lifts
6. Dirty carpet, outdated rooms, bathrooms so small you can barely shut the door, halls were filthy with gouges in the walls
7. Toilet ran all night and bath tub did not have working drain(had to call and get maintenance to fix)
8. Hot chocolate station was down and not working. Offered packets but no microwave in room to heat up water.
9.Breakfast buffet ridiculous $24 per person and Hilton only offers $12 a person now instead of free breakfast
10. $40 a night for parking had to negotiate the $15 rate that was listed when booked
11. Room prices inflated
12. Best part of the whole trip was the maintenance guy was hilarious and super nice and the housekeeping staff was so appreciative and brought fresh towels when asked. Make sure you tip them. They make this place tolerable.

Location is the best thing about the hotel, it is a short walk to the ski run close to Beaver Run or Quicksilver lifts. The hotel may have once been good but it is desperate for a refresh the rooms are tired and the corridors are horrible. The parking is under the hotel and it is great in winter to no park outside but they charge $40 a night for parking. The is a public ski locker the room can be opened by anyone with a key card and there are not individual locks for each person, you cannot take your skis to the room. For Diamon members you get $24 a day food credit which you can spend in the cafe to get value, or you can take $12 off the expensive breakfast. The hotel has a very strange layout, you need to take two elevators to get to the 7th floor and walk a long way between the elevators. There are few luggage carts and the only two I found both had damaged wheels and would not run smoothly. The corridors, especially the 6th floor were terrible. The room was tired but ok, the beds were comfortable and as we could walk across the road and ski it worked for us.

This property is very dated and not clean in common areas. The location is good for ski lifts but the trade off is elevators that don’t work, rooms that smell like smoke, dirty carpet, and just an overall transport back to the 1990s. One must request to have rooms cleaned each day but this is only communicated when the guest asks why the rooms weren’t cleaned. Stay elsewhere!

1. I didn't ski with my son and husband (stuck working inside). My husband isn't sure. Also, they only ski'd one day so you'll have to check with the staff. Sorry I don't have a better answer. 3. They have a bunny slope across the street where you can practice and it's free. Bonus info: There is a wonderful, free hill you can go sledding on not far from the hotel. The locals or hotel should be able to direct you to it. They should have some sleds at the hotel to borrow. We borrowed one and bought one (which we left there since we were out of room in our vehicle). They're only about $15 so pretty low cost and worth the fun. Given we're from Texas, the altitude was taking a bit of toll on us so the sledding was quite a work out even just walking up the hill several times. Again, it was TON OF FUN!
