I had a very nice stay at the lovely Chalet Elevation! It is listed as a BNB by the owners and that’s what I expected; better than resort service with the quaint charm of a well loved home! The room was warm, cozy and super clean. It was so calming and relaxing with the nice aromatherapy touch that I easily slept so well. The comfy fresh bed did part of the work too of course. It is quite vacation chill mode friendly! The meals I ordered were gourmet prepped and just perfectly filling. Rightly portioned meals for my appetite. You can tell that the chef knows and loves quality from the fresh and tasty ingredients. Deliciousness! The highest home in Breckenridge also has fantastic resort amenities accessible to their guests. Great times in the mountain! I’m coming back soon! I definitely recommend more friends to check it out!

First of all, this place we booked this place via hotels.com. The Chalet Elevations hotels.com site is TOTALLY FRAUDULENT. They combined the peak 7 amenities with their location and the hotels.com photo IS NOT THE B AND B--It is NOT off Peak 10! I was totally duped-- THIS IS NOT A SKI IN AND SKI OUT place---THIS IS TOTALLY FALSE ADVERTISING. THIS IS NOT EVEN IN BRECKENRIDGE!!!!!!!!!!! I am furious that I did not have time to check on EXACTLY WHERE THIS PLACE IS. They were totally cheap with their food and made me pay for cheese to go with my sons omelet. I was driving at night and it was sooooo far from breckenridge we were worried since it was just myself and my son. Everything on the Hotels.com chalet elevaation website was false-- They also said that there is free parking and access to slope side parking(that you have to pay for) ---IT IS FAR FROM BRECKENRIDGE--IT IS NOT IN BRECKENRIDGE--THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING! plus you have to share a bathroom-----FOR 240 DOLLARS I WOULD LIKE MY OWN BATHROOM-This is all a big lie----they should do air b and b and say they are sharing a room..the room was tiny and there is NO POOL!!!!!!They said they have 2 outside pools and 1 inside pool.. I don't know how these people in their conscience could advertise such falsehood You are basically staying in someones basement and they are charging you hotel prices.

Response from Jeffrey B, Owner at Chalet Elevation
Responded 28 Mar 2018
The good Doctor behind this review--yes, we're not afraid of calling out a "figure of authority and respect"--checked in to Chalet Elevation at 9:45 p.m. and left by 7:30 a.m. the following morning for her son's skiing event on Peak 6. Upon checking in the Doctor was asked for a credit card and ID. Pointing at the tag on her scrubs she sarcastically said, "My name is right here. I"m a doctor." I politely said, "Thank you. I still need a credit card and ID to check you in." She did purchase parking access at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7 for the most convenient parking possible for her son's competition. The wristbands provided to her granted parking access and also gave her unfettered access to pools, hot tubs, and more at the Grand Lodge. Yes, it is true that no pool exists at Chalet Elevation and Chalet Elevation has never claimed such a statement. However, most hotels would close pool areas by 10:00 p.m. and usually would not open them early in the morning. So, it should cause curious readers to analyze why the good Doctor would decide to focus on attacking Chalet Elevation by concentrating on the pool argument. If this pool attack were a legitimate topic and it clearly is not, they would have had about fifteen minutes to enjoy the pool in their fictional world. Exact wording refers to McCoulough Gulch and Peak 10 as "nearby attractions." Chalet Elevation's address is 82 Kimmes Lane, Breckenridge, CO 80424. The property is exactly 9.3 miles from Main St. Guests receive a customized breakfast of unlimited coffee or tea, two eggs cooked to order, hash browns, toast, or oatmeal with maples syrup, dried fruit, seeds, honey, and granola, and bacon or sausage with each stay and every plate is garnished with fresh fruits of strawberries, blueberries, apples, and grapefruit. Anyone who has ever ordered food from a business should not be surprised to pay extra for items not listed on the menu. Yes, we unashamedly charged the good Doctor $1.00 for cheese to be served with her son's scrambled eggs (not an omelette). Reading and comprehending are important life skills. Parking is free at Chalet Elevation. Guests receive access to parking on Peak 7 or Peak 8. Access is clearly not a synonym for free. Yes, the Spruce Room shares a bathroom with the Evergreen Room as Chalet Elevation clearly details. On the weekend during ski season the Spruce Room is $215 per night plus a $35 per reservation cleaning fee. Pictures and dimensions listed online are accurately detailed. The Spruce Room has two doors; one door provides direct access to outside with a hot tub ten feet away and the other door provides access to the common area. The room contains one queen bed with white linens, two bed side tables with two lamps, CO Bigelow bath products, a wall mounted television with satellite television offering HBO, Showtime, StarZ, Cinemax and more. Before departing after her one night stay, the good Doctor rang the doorbell at Chalet Elevation and stood waiting with a gracious smile and tone said, "Thank you for everything."
