Comfortable apartments, good service. The Gondola is a bit to far to walk with equipment, especially at the end of as active ski day. There is no restaurant/food in the lodge so you will have to go out for food every day you're there, unless you want to cook in the apartment kitchen. That would mean going grocery shopping. There...

This place offers great lodging, and a great location, at a much better price than a lot of other resorts in town and they have the secret sauce that makes for a great vacation - excellent customer service! If the rest of their employees are even half as professional, knowledgeable and accommodating as Donovan at the front desk, then there...

I have stayed at several properties in Breckenridge CO for ski vacations. This property seemed like it would be a distance from the HUB of town but with the convenient shuttles and helpful staff we would choose to stay here again for that reason. Our room was nice, great view and convenient washer/dryer across the hall. We very much enjoyed...

Great condo (3bdrm No 800) rented direct from agent/owner. Perfect for our family of 4 (2 boys age 9 and 14). Condo was in great condition and had everything we could need. We stocked the kitchen with groceries from the nearby supermarket. We also went out for dinner in town a number of times. We used the pool and spa...

Mountain Thunder lodge is comprised of basically townhouses. You get a kitchen and living area with a full bedroom. It is well furnished and clean. Downside- you only get trash and towel service each day. The question for you- do you want easy town access or a ski-in/out experience. Thunder Mountain is located walking distance close to the gondola which...

I ski every year at many locations, normally Crested Butte (which is amazing). The experience at Mountain Thunder Lodge was terrible. We arrived late at night and they pointed us out into the dark to drag our luggage through the snow to find our building. The shuttle stranded us downtown at 11:40 when they were supposed to be available until...

This is our 4th time staying at Mountain Thunder and we normally go to Breckenridge 2-3x a year. The first time was in 2006 and the property was in pristine condition. We just got back and stayed in a one bedroom condo 5306. While the condo itself was very nice, aside from old carpet, the grounds need some upkeep. The...

The International Ice Sculptures were amazing. Tip: Pack all your ski gear into a big suitcase (50lbs) ship it Fed X Ground. (Door to Door is appox...

Very good comments from Dobeman. Excellent advice. We had expected a hotel with restaurant, bar etc but it is more an apartment type lodge with kitchen and washing facilities. Having got over that misunderstanding we settled in to a good stay. Shuttle tô peak 8 and 9 is very handy as the walk in ski boots to peak 8 gondola...
