Great place to stay. 2 bedroom with loft. Sofa bed was not comfy though and fans would have been a plus. Good location. Close to shops and dining. Had all the necessary utensils, pots and pans, washer and dryer.
Great place! Stocked Kitchenette and spacious bedroom and living room. Walking distance to Main Street and Beaver Run slopes. Hot tub and pool and nice plus. Comfortable living room furniture and bedroom.
Very comfortable, spacious unit. 2 Bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms. Large living room and a fully stocked kitchen. Washer and drier in Unit. The property is well kept, grill onsite, hot tubs clean and worked perfectly. Free bus stopped in front of the condo and takes you to the Snowflake lift or Beaver Run further up. Coming back is very easy through the lower 4 o'clock run. 2 minute walk with your skis and boots on. Perfect.
We stayed for a week in Sundowner II unit 321, a spacious 2 BR/2 1/2 BA unit. Unit was dated but comfortable. Bedrooms upstairs, each with its own BA. Kitchen equipment -- knives, cutlery, pots and pans -- could use some refreshing. Indoor parking for vehicle was a plus. Bus convenient to Snowflake Lift in the a.m. Ski-in off the 4 O'clock run in the afternoon with a short walk across the street. (Be sure to ask about landmarks so you don't take 4 O'clock to the end and wind up walking up hill a bit as we did on the first day). We skied 5 days so only went into town one day, but a short walk to Main Street. All in all, a good location, comfortable condo with few frills.
We stayed in the T11 unit on the 3rd floor. The condo was spacious and very comfortable. We were happy with virtually everything. My only complaint is the condition of the appliances. The cook top on the stove has something burned onto the left front burner. All of the shelves on the refrigerator door were also broken. We left a box of sugar cubes and a lighter behind to help anyone that stays after us.
Extremely tired, dirty, broken down, trashy. Don't stay at Sundowner II. All units are pretty bad; a big rip-off. Hot tub dirty, never cleaned up/maintained for the week we were there. Mgmt office not very responsible. We had to call maintenance three times; for broken stuff and non-working stuff. All the pots and pans were greasy, really gross. Mgmt office doesn't give a damn. First clue should have been seeing two plungers in bathrooms. We do not fix things on our vacations!!!! Woodwinds Prop Management is awful.
Came for a week of skiing. Nice centrally located unit. Very close to ski lift and also quick walk to town puts you in the best of both worlds. Also quick 2 minute walk to hot tubs. This home is the perfect place to relax after wandering town or a day of skiing. Right out the door is a bus stop to take you to the snowflake lift. Or you can walk 5 minutes. Ski in - take 4 o'clock to town run to pine ridge condos and just walk across the street. Even in freezing temps - walking to main street was 5-10 minutes and the preferred method of getting around. Not flashy but makes it feel like home and now I don't want to leave!
Stayed in 1 br/ 1b unit W1 in Sundowner I condo Christmas week. Very pleased with unit. Clean, comfy, as advertised, great location. Unit perfect for couple or family of 4 with small children. Rented through VRBO #329419. Owner , Jo, could not have been better before, during, and after the stay. You don't need a car but it was below 0 every AM and your own car is nice, but you can get anywhere on Free Ride Bus. And it is only two blocks to center of Main Street action. Pool is three min. Walk away ( heated outdoor pool, indoor hot tub, two outdoor hot tubs). This was a very nice unit and would recommend to anyone seeking 1 br unit.
Let me start off by saying this place is not as advertised. I would never stay here again. The staff was not helpful at all and there were no staff in breckenridge the office was in frisco which is about 9 miles from breckenridge and there only open till 4 or 5 pm which is not convenient because you on the slopes till 4:30ish. The condo is about 2 blocks from Main Street and about a block from the hot tub. So if they tell you it's ski in ski out its not true. The nearest lift was about 200 yards up hill from the nearest lift which was the snowflake lift.
We recently stayed here for a week in august and we have found a real gem. This is a two storey condo with excellent, home from home, facilities, with fantastic views of the Rockies. There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin and a double pull out sofa bed in the lounge. The single beds are the most comfortable we have stayed in and slept soundly every night. There is also a third toilet downstairs - great for families. One big plus for us was the washing machine and dryer in the condo, together with ironing facilities. Each bedroom has an ensuite, loads of storage and powerful showers. There is free wi fi, good connection, fully fitted kitchen, everything you need for a relaxing break. The lounge has enough comfortable seating and a dining table seating six chairs. Loads or rooms everywhere. The whole condo gives an air of relaxation and quietness whilst only being a stones throw away from the hub of Main Street. The views from the condo are amazing. The balcony has a view of the Rockies, it is south east facing so has the sun In the morning on the balcony and in the twin room. There is a secure covered car park where you can safely park your vehicle underground, with access to the lift or stairs. On the complex is a swimming pool and hot tub, well looked after with changing rooms and loungers. We didn't ski but the Main Street is only 5 mins walk with a huge variety of shops and eating places. All in all, I would really recommend this condo. real home from home accommodation which I would love to visit again! …
