We booked unit 211 based on the online description and photos. Photos show this unit overlooks two fully functional hot tubs. Be aware! They are boarded up and NOT functioning. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We loved this townhome and it was a great space for our family of 5. We took a shuttle from the Denver airport and were told that there was a shuttle that ran from the townhomes to the ski resort. That is true during the day. The last shuttle runs at 5 pm. There is no shuttle in the evenings. So, in order to get to town (about 4 miles away), we would have to get an Uber which was $30 one way or we could take the city bus which was quite a walk and then only ran every hour. We were told that the shuttle was on call in the evenings until 10 pm and that we would be taken to our destination choice and picked up from there. We were very disappointed to find out the truth. We will stay at the ski slope if we come to Breck again and don’t have a car. We would stay here again only if we had a car. It was quiet and we LOVED the private hot tub off the back deck. It felt wonderful at the end of a long ski day.

#208 at The Highland Greens Lodge is beautifully decorated and has the best deck in the building. The property also has a hot tub, sauna, exercise room and cable/Wi Fi. The owners have kept the unit impeccably clean with all the comforts of home. The bus stop on the corner takes you all over Summit County including all the ski areas. We will always look this condo up for our Breckenridge stays. VRBO #626345

I really liked the Lodge at Highland Greens. I rented it through Summit Valley Rentals (via VRBO), and the unit was in great shape with a good kitchen and bathroom and the regular other stuff. The lodge provides ski storage and a shuttle to Breckenridge. It's very quiet which is exactly what I want out of a ski lodge and its location makes it perfect for those who will ski more than just Breckenridge. If you've stayed in Breck but skied elsewhere, you've undoubtedly experienced the traffic jam around 4pm. That's not a problem at this place as it's about 4 miles back towards Frisco. No traffic jams. I have a few tiny gripes, which won't keep me from staying there again by any means: 1) As we rented from Summit Valley Rentals, we had to go into Breckenridge to get the keys. We got in very late and while it's only 4 miles there and back to the lodge, it's not ideal. I'd prefer there be a system wherein one can go straight to the lodge. The setup they use in town could easily be replicated at the lodge (providing a code to get the keys out of a secure cabinet at the main office). 2) As I rented through Summit Valley Rentals, any questions I had were directed to them and the information wasn't always correct. There was nothing life-threatening that I needed to know, but the information wasn't always right and took a little effort to get the right answer. All in all - a great rental. I would absolutely stay there again.

Very nice unit - Unit 303. Was very surprised when I opened the door and realized it was a two-story. The place was spotless! Really enjoyed the hot tubs. Great location for vistiing Breckenridge, Frisco, Dillon, and Silverthorne. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. Booked the unit through Wildernest Vacations.

We purposely picked a higher-end property away from the congestion of downtown Breckenridge and are very happy with our choice. The building overall was very quiet and clean, as was the unit we stayed in 210. In fact it was immaculate. The only downside was lot parking vs. garage parking but the weather wasn't too cold when we were there so not a big issue. We liked the homey feel of the condo and everything you could need was provided including our own washer & dryer and hi speed internet at no charge.

My sister and I stayed in Condo 310 of the Lodge at Highland Greens for 6 nights in March. We booked the Condo through VRBO and made contact with the Condo owner Becky via the VRBO website. Booking the Condo was very straightforward and Becky sent us plenty of instructions on how to get to Breckenridge, collect the keys (via a management company 5 mins drive from the Condo) and where to find the supermarket etc. All very helpful. We hired a 4X4 and drove to Breckenridge from Denver as the cost was similar to that of a return shuttle service. The drive took one and a half hours and was very straightforward. This option gave us greater flexibility to ski other areas - Keystone etc. The Condo was lovely, well decorated and very well equipped. There was a fridge / freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and lots of pots / pans, crockery etc. in the kitchen. There was also a washer / drier, iron / ironing board, hoover, 2 x TV's, a DVD / video player, plenty of storage space, hangers and bedding. And nice extra touches like the selection of DVD's to watch and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom. The Condo comfortably accomodates 3 people (4 might not be the best option only because 2 sharing the sofa bed might become uncomfortable after a few nights). The Lodge is based 3.5 miles from Main Street in Breckenridge where all the shops and restaurants are located. There is a complimentary shuttle bus service from The Lodge to the ski lifts and Breckenridge village (and back) hourly each day from 8am to 5pm. From 5pm to 10/11pm you can call and organise a complimentary shuttle service to and from Breckenridge village - a great service which we used several times. There isn't anyone on reception daily at The Lodge but they do leave you numbers to call if you require any help. Becky provided us with plenty of info so we didn't need to use this service. A few restaurants we enjoyed were Steak and Rib and Hearthstone for dinner and The Blue Moose for breakfast - all in Breckenridge. We loved our time in Breckenridge and would highly recommend the resort and Condo 310 at The Highland Greens Lodge.

My family and I go to Breckenridge every year and for the past two years rented a condo at Highland Greens Lodge. I didn't see any of the other rooms, and I knew it was a condo complex and thus didn't expect a receptionist, but was impressed by the little wagons they have to help you get your luggage from your car, and the fireplace in the lobby. We stayed in #314 and it was fabulous. The kitchen that looks out over the living space, big TV, balcony overlooking the mountains. It had two great bedrooms, one of which (the master) was on the second floor and OOOOHHHH that TUB in the master bath!!!! Each morning after coffee and oatmeal, we would wake up, get our ski clothes on, walk down the hall and get on the shuttle to the mountain. So, we didn't have to drive in the snow...and they even took us to a restaurant and came to pick us up at night!!! Supposedly, they have a weight room, but we were always exhausted after all day outside hiking (snowshoeing) or skiing. However, I can also speak very highly of the moonlit dips in the two outdoor hottubs and the sauna. It could have been the beautiful snow, or the clean air getting to my New York Brain, but it was the best Summit County vacation we've ever had. We already have our reservations for next year.

We booked a Studio Apartment for four nights through Expedia and the reservation was immediately charged to our credit card by the agent that works for the management company. This was contrary to Expedia's rules governing this booking so things got off to a bad start before even getting there. We arrived at the lodge which is well outside Breckenridge town at 1900hrs to find no one at the reception area and a telephone number to call (with no access to the telephone as we were locked out of the reception area) eventually a resident let us in and I phoned the out of hours number to discover that I was required to pick up the keys from the management companies office in Silverthorne about 20 minutes drive away. Not impressed by this especially as I had not received any notice of this prior to arriving and for those without their own transport a total liberty ! After this inconvenience and a 40 minute round trip on dark snow bound roads we gained entry to our apartment. On the whole the apartment was pretty well maintained however there were several issues which I raised with the management Company (Wildernest) who's attitude quite frankly was unhelpful and uninterested. Nothing was done to rectify the complaints. Both the external sliding doors to the balcony were broken and could not be locked. The apartment was on the ground floor so therefore was totaly insecure for the whole of our stay. This was reported and nothing was done about it. I therefore had to take all my valuables out with me wherever I went !! Not good. One of the towels in the bathroom had make up on it and was dirty and both bathmats were dirty and stained. Again nothing done about it. There was no iron or ironing board (a basic requirement). There was no TV in the bedroom which although is not a requirement is an expectation. We eventually checked out a day early (four nights booked) as I had had enough of staying in an insecure apartment and having to leave my laptop and valuables in my car while I was skiing. I cannot recommend this accommodation based on my experiences.

Highland Greens is a new development a few miles from Breckenridge, near the municipal golf course. I thought that since the unit is new, there wouldn't be any problems. However, they are still getting their act together. I rented unit 304 from one of the intown agencies. Note that there is no front desk in case you want any kind of help. When I arrived, I was met with a locked front door. The rental agency didn't mention the code, but I eventually found a number in the paperwork. There are a number of things missing that I expect in any hotel or condo: shampoo, hairdryer, alarm clock. Things that I felt weren't up to par: - shower head, many holes blocked, low water pressure, very low flow - heating is under floor. It takes about 8 hours for the unit to warm up after you move in. - practically no coat hangers - extremely cheap pots and pans - limited extra supply of toilet paper and Kleenex On the good side: high speed internet provided, hot tubs, sauna, exercise room, washer/dryer in unit.
