We stayed here for 2 nights and it was simply delightful. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and a plate of scrumptious chocolate chip cookies and brownies. The gardens were very well maintained and provided a relaxing atmosphere while we sat on the front porch. The rooms were cozy and elegant. The owners just took...

Great accommodations & outstanding breakfast in a perfect location. Rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. Decor and furnishings throughout make this a very unique B & B. Less than a 10 min walk to Le Petit Chablis and several other bars/restaurants or 15 mins to the Royal Gorge train depot. This is THE place to stay if planning a...

We were made to feel very welcomed and part of the home immediately upon arrival. The home was very welcoming to guest: there were both private areas and common areas. The front porch looking over the beautiful landscaping was a step back in time. We walked to the downtown (which was only two blocks away) where there were a variety...

New owners are extremely courteous, friendly, and accommodating. It's a little awkward that some of the bathrooms, while private and room-specific, are not actually connected to the room and involve a jaunt down the hallway. The air conditioner left something to be desired (had to use a room fan also), and the internet connectivity is pretty much non-existent, but the...

My fiance and I stayed at the Jewel of the Canyon bed and breakfast on our first trip to Colorado. We had never stayed at a b and b before. We were so glad we did. Michelle and Brian were so warm and welcoming. It felt like home not a hotel. The breakfast was delicious. We could walk downtown to...

My wife and I spent a night at Jewel of the Canyons B&B in early May, 2013. The innkeeper, Michelle, was wonderful and her food/service was amazing. It's an adorable venue and we certainly recommend it!!! Our only regret is we were hurrying through Canon City so we only got to stay one night. We must return!!

My husband had planned a little get away for the night at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The Innkeepers, Michelle and Brian were wonderful and pleasant-they really did make our stay so comfortable and special. The room we stayed in, The Golden Gate, was spacious, elegant and the bed was so comfortable along with all the pillows as well. The...

This is actually our second visit to this sweet little B&B. This alone should tell you something :) We loved the house and the service and food was exceptional! If you love to visit B&Bs, you'll want to put this on your list of places to experience. The town was quaint and the people friendly. There's plenty of excitement with...

The Jewel of the Canyons first got my attention for their location and price. We were doing a New Years Eve dinner train on the Royal Gorge railroad, and they are just a few short blocks away. Had we not been all dressed up and had it not been so cold, we would have walked to the depot. As it...

This is a very cool little B&B. The hosts were awesome and the accomodations are outstanding. The pictures and descriptions on their web site are accurate, but do not do it justice, you have to stay there to appreciate the decor and care that is obvious in every room. We were the only guests on the night we stayed as...
