This motel is really centrally located in Cañon City. Main Street is just behind it and Royal Gorge Boulevard in front of it. The service was friendly and nightly rate really affordable. I could stay here again.

Rooms were clean, very nice and quiet. Bed was very comfortable, slept like a baby. The people that they have on staff were very friendly and helpful! Especially the young lady that was working the front desk customer service position. Her name is Bianca and I have to say she was the friendliest and most helpful of anyone at any place we... More

We booked this motel off of location more than anything- it's directly across the street from the royal gorge train. The room itself was okay. Nice size, decent bed. Bathroom is a little on the small size, but nothing terrible. For the amount of noise the shower made, I did expect better water pressure. All in all, I'd stay here... More

We stayed here this past Friday, 9/17. I was a little reluctant about this Choice property as it was close to the bottom of hotels in town. It was 7:30pm on a Friday night and we knew our options were limited. I saw reviews for 60$/night but due to the festival near by and weekend we paid 78$ plus taxes.... More

Although a little dated, reasonable rates and clean rooms. Front desk personnel very friendly and helpful with local information. Although on the main road, rooms were quiet. Also, only one block from Main Street. A number of places to go for a bite to eat and grab some adult beverages.

The motel offers a discount for people in town to ride the train. You have to request the discount, but it is cheerfully given. The motel was quiet and has plenty of parking. They accept American Express.

Our room was decent. We stayed midweek and it was quiet. The price was right. Nice people. The hotel is right across the street from the train station. The pool/hot tub area was clean. The continental breakfast was simple, but well done. Two thumbs up!

The room was clean but needed updating. We requested a quiet room, and our 2nd floor rear room was exactly that. Housekeeping did a good with what they had. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is the main selling point for this hotel. 5 minutes walk to the train and old town and the best restaurant in Canon... More

We were able to walk to the train, and to a wonderful city park, and a quilt shop. The main problem is that we had a 1st floor room and everyone that walked on the 2nd floor sounded like an elephant. The hot tub was really hot and the heated pool was too cool for me. The employees were all... More

I'll start out with the problems. First mucus on inside shower curtain...gross, no bath mat, door knob about to fall off on bathroom door and you had to lock it to keep it closed, funky smell, 2 wash cloths for 4 people, no luggage rack, and we could hear every footstep on the top floor, also no elevator. Skimpy breakfast,... More
