This park is a hidden gem along the Arkansas River in a easily accessible mountain setting. All RV sites have amazing mountain views and river views. Located halfway between Salida and Canon City (20 miles, on US 50)in a gorge with towering rocks on both sides. The park is meticulously maintained by the owners/managers who are friendly and treat their...

We arrived a day early and the park was full son they created a spot for us to camp until our spot was available the...

Luckily we happened upon this jewel on our way to Canon City. A great central location for the variety of activities central Colorado has to offer. The owners, Doug and Judy, bend over backwards to make sure your stay is a great one. Our cabin served our family of five well. The rooms, the grounds are well-cared for and clean....

We found this gem at the end of our road trip and fell so in love that we stayed two nights. The owners take such pride in their property and their patrons. They have all the amenities you could possibly need and you will never find a cleaner campground. We will be back for sure!

We picked Bighorn Park as our home base for our first RV vacation in Colorado. The park is located in a beautiful location on the Arkansas River. The views are amazing. The campgrounds are clean, comfortable and quiet. The pool and facilities are very nice and there are games for guests to use. The restrooms are the cleanest I've ever...

We stumbled upon this motel and couldn't have found a more relaxing and inviting place for the night. The sound of the river roaring with the beautiful mountains is picturesque and soothing especially after a day on the road. The room was cozy, spotless, and comfortable with views of the landscape. The owners are very friendly and welcoming as well....

Don't even look anywhere else for a place to stay between Pueblo and Salida. Clean, comfortable and convenient accommodations with good access to fishing, hiking, or just taking in the "fourteener" mountain views right across the valley. They don't call this Bighorn for nothing, the sheep come right down to the river here for water. Just can't beat it.

Our trip itinerary was to drive US-50 west from Pueblo, Colorado as it followed the Arkansas River. We'd driven this route several years ago and said we wanted to come back when we had time to hang out along the river. The drive was as beautiful as we remembered and we knew we wanted to stay in a campground close...

(short) Clean & Tidy (few cobwebs in the ceiling but no biggie). Bunkhouses were very affordable and sat right on the edge of the river. We slept with the windows open so we could hear the water. The staff was really friendly and the bathrooms (a main concern at any RV park) were also very clean. Not sure how loud...

We love those bunkhouses. They are fun and rustic and offer a great view of the river. Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice review on our park and lucky for us that our token dog Ruby was covering the office for us or we might have missed you. We've remodeled the deck that overlooks the Arkansas...
