If you get the chance and can afford it, by all means stay in General Palmer's castle. The property is open to all for reservations, although you will need to check in and out at the gate shack on the way into/out of the property....More

No they do not have a pool. It has been gone since the 60’s.

You need to make a reservation but the problem is, they don't let you do that until three months to the date you intend to stay. So booking say, four months in advance just isn't possible. We had that problem from abroad.
