Great lodging in historic Creede, Co. We arrived late and someone was waiting for us, the room was spacious, the bathroom a bit dated but clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this lodging.

The Fireman's Inn is now managed by the building owner, and is no longer a B&B. Nice bed and clean room, but VERY basic. Bring your own hair dryer. Very hot in the summer, with just a ceiling fan. The rooms face the sun during the day, so really heat up. Very noisy in the early morning, as storage for...

The accommodation was hard to find because there is no signage at all purely a dilapidated ground floor door with a for sale sign beside it. We were advised by the tourist information in Creede that the next door dessert shop would provide a key. The entrance and hallways leading to the room felt more like backpackers accommodation. The window...

Dear pip421; Thank you for staying with us and I apologize that your accommodations were not what you expected. The Firemen's Inn is a historic building that is over 100 years old and although I have just assumed ownership this summer, I am constantly striving to make improvements, as I'm sure you noticed with the brand new linens and bed...

My sister and mother took a weekend trip to Creede and stayed at the Old Firehouse B&B. Mark and Mary went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. They are the new managers and hard workers and both as cute as can be! The rooms were clean and the hotel is in a great location. The new owners...

We enjoyed staying at The Old Firehouse B&B. At this time of year (winter) they are not serviing breakfast. But, the room was clean, cheerful and in a perfect location in the heart of Creede. Some folks complained about the staircase but it must be expected since it is the former lodging for firefighters, right?

Much more spartan than the pic suggests. Think civilized frontier, instead, rather like a town hotel in Little House on the Prairie. Check-in is at the next door restaurant, then its up narrow stairs to the charmingly frontier-like and clean rooms. Bring your own hair dryer. Unique and wonderful breakfast arrangement - order a la carte from the next door...

The picture that comes up with the Old Firehouse B&B has nothing to do with the property you will be staying at - be advised. Moving pst that disconnect, this was an OK place to stay but nothing special. I agree with the latest reviewer in that there is no TV (however DVDs are provided so you can watch movies)...

Probably about as good as you get in Creede. The room was clean but the towels were in need of replacement and had a smell. There was no soap in the tub dispenser. I know this is shallow but, no TV! only movies for the DVD player. No ice. The breakfast was good though! Behind hotel was a lumber shed...

We booked the Commodore Suite for ourselves and our grandson. Nice accommodations overlooking the street. Bed for a couple in main room, 2 twin and trundle in second room. Breakfasts in the restaurant were good and hearty. Loved the sweet potato pancakes. One evening we went across the street to the local theatre. Since it was raining lightly it was...

The options for places to stay in Creede are very limited and I doubt that any would qualify as four star. The Firehouse is a really good place. It is in a historic building with all the rooms on the second floor. There is no elevator although the owner offered to help with bags. The rooms have been refurbished but...
