What a beautiful and serene stay. Pioneer Guest Cabins far exceeded my expectations. The cabins were so quaint with all the amenities except for TV and phone--That made it more of a paradise. If a phone call needed to be made they were more than...More
Quiet, secluded (yet just minutes from Crested Butte), historic cabins. Located far enough from each other to afford privacy. Cozy and cute with flower boxes at the windows and hummingbirds at the feeders. The river, with your own fire pit and chairs by the river....More
This summer was our second time to stay at Pioneer Guest Cabins. We love the sound of the Cement Creek flowing right by the cabin, the hummingbirds arguing for a seat at the feeder, and the cleanliness of the property (inside and out). There are...More
This was our first time staying at Pioneer Guest Cabins. We loved being out in the wilderness and enjoyed all the hiking trails close by. We were within 10-15 minutes of Crested Butte and Gunnison, and had the opportunity to go white water rafting at...More

Cabins face onto a little gravel road on the property, and are in sight of each other, but widely spaced, so that you don't feel very near your neighbor. Some are beyond a curve in the road. That might make them seem more private. Area is nicely wooded and shady. We stayed in Wild Rose. One room with bed, sofa and chairs, good-sized kitchen and bathroom. Nothing fancy, rustic and somewhat whimsically decorated, but very charming and comfortable. We thought it was a great choice in June 2017.
