We stayed here on a comped room from Bronco Billy's. (Comped but a $50 upcharge). The suite (#60) was okay. Not very big but clean and the bed was very comfortable. A flat screen TV in both the bedroom and in the sitting room. There is a jacuzzi tub in the very nicely

So we get to the hotel and check in. The lady gives us keys for one room. It looked oddly familiar because we had stayed in that room before. We go down to tell the lady that we paid for a queen size bed and not a full this time. She apologizes and tells us that we are actually

Response from Dreamer10, Owner at Imperial Hotel and Restaurant

Stephanie - I agree with you - that sounds like the worst experience ever!! My wife and I are the owners of the Imperial Hotel, and will discuss your awful experience with our staff. There is simply not one good excuse for this. As you said the last time you stayed you had no problems and with over 20,000 room nights I can never recall any similar situation. So you have my sincere apologies for what was certainly the "Worst Experience Ever". For those reading this - on a rare occasion things happen, it is not what are other guests have experienced and it would not be what we expect from our staff.

We were elated to find a vacancy at the Imperial Hotel! Our room, located on the third floor, was decorated with a nod to the Old West having a 4 poster bed and antique furniture. We had the corner room overlooking main street. Each room has a different theme and we hope to

We decided on whim to stop in and see this historic hotel. While in the hotel we looked over the menu and decided we would come back for dinner. Not knowing when we would be back we didn't make a reservation. We came back about a hour later and they were busy so we went and

Are at the restaurant in a Friday night. Amazing good deal! Huge portion of a main dish, salad, bread & ice cream all for $13.00. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The ambiance was awesome! Such an amazing history! A hidden gem!

Is the restaurant open 7 days a week?
We heard Imperial is haunted
Hi The Imperial Hotel was constructed in 1898 and has been a hotel and restaurant since. George and Irsual purchase the hotel in around 1910 and George among other things he was an artist. He was killed in the hotel in the 1920's and some say he is a resident ghost. We have owned the hotel for seven years and I have never seen him and no one I have talked has seen him - although some say they feel his presence. No certain that is the answer you are looking for - but there are other buildings in Cripple Creek that are said to be haunted

Can anyone tell me what floor room 53 is on, and if it has a shower? Thanks.
It is on the second floor - 28 steps

"This hotel does not have an elevator. Staying on the 3rd floor can be a bit much if you are not use to the altitude."
"All rooms are quiet and very comfortable."
"Rooms on the north side are quieter."
"Second floor rooms have fewer stairs to climb. Stairs are steep and elevation is high!"
"The Max Morath Queen Suite and the Actor's Queen Hide Away were simply lovely."
