Reluctantly, I traveled to the Double Eagle Casino for a side trip. I needed instructions on how to use slot machines. I learned and lost. But then came lunch. It was a winner. The French Dip of moist slow-roasted beef with a side of horseradish sauce and hot au jus for dipping was worth it. My companion enjoyed the Reuben...

We'd had an abrupt change of plans for our night's accommodations, and they had an opening here. The bedding and bath linens were clean, and the bed fairly comfortable. There was some hallway noise. The door latches looked like they had seen better days, but there was a sturdy lock installed. We were not intending to stay at a casino,...

The rooms old but clean. The staff is rude and hate being here. I would stay here again better then other hotels here. The breakfast is free but is an hour long, for a buffet breakfast. Someone won 12,000 by me thou.

We were attending a wedding in Victor, Colo. I called ahead to have a room reserved for Sat night,Aug 27th. Had a confirmation number and gave them my credit card #. When I called the day of the wedding to get our room they said I had NO reservation. I found a room in another hotel for that night BUT...

We stayed Saturday, 7/23/16. Room was not worth a $100/night. Old/dated/dirty like a cheap roadside motel. Free breakfast, glad it was free. Casino: 4 card tables, that's it. We only slept in room, gambled elsewhere.

.... and NOT for the better! For many years, this was our choice hotel and casino for our fun drive up to Cripple Creek. The last 2 visits were very disappointing. Unfortunately, the 'happy' is decreasing, the 'hoots 'n yips' from excited winners felt fewer and the service staff felt very stretched (1 cocktail waitress serving 2 floors on a...

Stayed here for a business meeting and the business took the hotel off its list of places to stay in the future. The hotel needs major routine maintenance, has a VERY confusing layout, with average food and beverage service, and room prices too high for what you get unless you are a gambler. NOT kid, elder, or disability friendly.

I really enjoyed our little visit to Cripple Creek Hotel.and Casino.town... it's located in the mountains in a quaint little town, which I could totally visualize the outlaws running rampant :) Although we stayed at the Double Eagle we ventured around a bit and got Players Cards at a few of the Casinos. I won $350 @ the Double Eagle...

Nice room. The staff works well to provide the room requested. They provide breakfast each morning with the room and it is not hard to get the room and evening meals paid for. The casino attached to the hotel makes it very convenient.
