For my birthday I won a free night. I was welcomed by Nancy. She put us in room 222 as she thought it had the best mountain view. Not a fancy room but clean. Had a nice stay. Our shuttle drivers were very polite and quick. Would recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I read the reviews, and expected a rough night but we had the opposite. We liked almost everything about this place, it was very simple but worked. We stayed in off season with our dog, so that might be part of the reason we liked it, it was quiet despite being on the first floor near the front desk. Description in reviews are correct, you will need your car to get places, it's on top of a hill which makes for a pretty view. Drive down the hill and you are at the casinos. What to expect: If you've never been, lower your expectations, Cripple Creek is not Vegas. It's a tiny, tiny town and this is not a fancy hotel, it has more of a local Colorado feel. Nancy made our reservation, she was wonderful. Everyone at the front desk

Room and facilities clean and comfortable. Staff very caring and friendly. They have access to a free shuttle bus which will take you any place in Cripple Creek. (Be sure to watch for the Donkey's that run free in town, they love carrots.

Wonderful place to stay in Cripple Creek. Nice rooms and the pool/hottub were great. Close to everything in Cripple Creek with a nice view of Pike's Peak. Not far from Colorado Springs activities. I definitely recommend !!

Very large, very clean room with microwave and mini-fridge. Free shuttle to anywhere you want to go in town. Associated with Wildwood Casino (down the hill from the hotel). If you get the Casino Players Card, you get a discount on the room, "free" money for the casino and a discount at the restaurant. Was supposed to get a free breakfast but kitchen in the restaurant was down so had pastries, and they did honor the free breakfast voucher for us.

Booked a room a few hours before arriving, this was one of the cheapest places in Cripple Creek. BIG MISTAKE! The hotel sits on a hill overlooking town, with very nice views. That's the only good thing I can say. Our "no smoking" room apparently meant no one was currently smoking in there when we arrived. Room completely reeked of cigarette smoke, and it appeared that the smoke alarm had been messed with. The bathroom was very small. The pool area was nice, but no towels were available at the pool. The only exit we found by the pool to the outside was a fire door, meaning you have to walk all the way to the other end of the hotel to go outside. The fire alarm went off at 5:20 a.m., to no reasonable explanation. Upon check-in, there was still items in the mini-fridge that had not

This place is just frustrating from booking to check out and everything in between. The rooms are big but the bathroom is so tiny you can barely shut the door when you step in it. The cleaning service consists of swapping your towels out and nothing else. They reset all the room keys at 11am everyday so you get to wait in the slow front desk line to get that fixed. Just stay somewhere else.

One big problem here is that there is NO restaurant on premises....Recently remodeled, stayed on 1st floor, noise wasn’t that bad....keep in mind this is the low season & not a lot of guests. The room was clean & comfortable....except bottom of bathtub...looks like it just needs replacing. There is a mini fridge & microwave, full length mirror, nice new tv, free WiFi, fairly spacious....bathroom is small. Be prepared to drive anywhere you want to go, or get a shuttle to town....this hotel is a long walk from anything. I give it 3 stars due to no restaurants, there is an indoor heated pool & elevators.

We stayed in one of the “remodeled” rooms on level G. Basic King room. Check-in was uneventful and the ladies were happy and friendly. We received breakfast vouchers for use in the casino restaurant but the breakfasts are only $3 regularly anyway, but hey, I’m grateful for the vouchers nonetheless. The food in the casino at Joe’s Diner is outstanding. We had the prime rib and baked potato for $12.95. Huge portions and delicious! And the breakfasts are enormous! Our room had a new flatscreen, very large tv, which was a plus. The bedspread didn’t fit the bed. It was like they used a Queen on a king bed. Weird. Non-smoking room smelled a bit of stale cigarettes. Room had a small frig. Bonus. Bathtub floor was not clean enough that I could feel comfortable having a bath. We did use
