The first hotel in Denver’s industrial and artistic RiNo neighborhood, The Ramble Hotel is locally owned and operated. The 50-room boutique hotel houses the marquee lobby bar Death & Co; DC/AM, a cafe bar serving breakfast and lunch; and Suite 6a, a reservation-only private bar featuring a cocktail tasting menu experience – all operated by Death & Co. Additionally, The Ramble Hotel is home to Vauxhall, an intimate music venue, theatre and bar; an outdoor courtyard; and Super Mega Bien, an independent pan-Latin restaurant from James Beard-nominated Chef Dana Rodriguez. The Ramble Hotel took inspiration from French Salons of the 17th century, and the Salon’s utility in society as not only a platform for the exchange of ideas, but as a catalyst to creating community. As such, each space within the hotel has been designed with the intent to foster meaningful conversation, engagement and interaction among guests.

Our stay at The Ramble was beyond anything we expected. We travel often and I can honestly say that we have never encountered such exceptional attentiveness and personalized service as we received at this beautiful hotel. Carola, the Front Office Manager, greeted us every morning with a smile and excellent suggestions for locations to eat and explore. We were also greeted periodically throughout the day, and consistently asked about any specific needs or requests we might have to make our stay more enjoyable. Her service was above and beyond any staff member I have ever come across while traveling. She absolutely made our stay memorable, and we would choose this hotel over any other just to experience this warm and welcoming service.
We felt like we were at home. Our room was beautiful, cozy and clean, and we spent quite a bit of time while in the room sitting at the very well placed comfortable chairs right by the giant window. The windows opened, which was great, so we were able to also enjoy the fresh Colorado air. The bed was comfortable, there was a good variety of beverages in the refrigerator, as well as provisions (snacks).
The Covid guidelines were being adhered to with great care, and we never felt uncomfortable spending time within the spaces of the hotel. Great job to all on the team at this incredibly unique location, we will be back!

We loved everything about this wonderful boutique hotel - and everybody who works there. Took my husband here for a staycation getaway for his birthday. The moment you walk in the door you are transported to what feels like a totally different location. The lobby holds the Death and Company bar - a beautiful space with the absolute best bar staff and cocktails ever. The chandeliers hanging throughout the lobby, the high ceilings, and the deep blue colors make the space luxurious.
Our room was perfect. The attention to every detail (including exactly how to make your morning coffee), the décor, big windows, dark accent walls, and small chandelier made the space one you didn't want to leave. Never before have we gone to a hotel and actually sat in the room to have a drink and talk rather than exploring our surroundings. But it was so fun to just be right there.
From the people who opened the door to those who greeted us at the front desk, to a person everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is a classy and fun place to be in a neighborhood full of things to do and places to eat. We can't recommend it highly enough.

This was my first visit to Denver's RiNo neighborhood. The Ramble was very chic, centrally located, and had a welcoming lobby with both travelers and locals.

We loved the decor in the rooms! It was comfortable, cool artwork, and really nice amenities. The location is prime and the atmosphere is great- would highly recommend.

First things first! Most employees were wonderful and friendly. That said all in all it was a disappointing 6 night stay. Stayed in two rooms.First was very large but we could hear the music from the bar downstairs until midnight. After 3 nights we asked to be moved. Second room was smaller but actually more comfortable. BUT! Both rooms had no hooks in bathroom for towels. No drawers for clothes. Had to ask for a luggage rack so we could "live out of our suitcase" for the final 3 nights.
Lovely and large glass shower in bathroom but you need to run around to get wet. Poor water pressure.
Coffee in room? The idea of providing a guest with a water kettle and a plunge coffee maker is just a bad idea and badly designed. Where the coffee equipment is set up HAS NO PLUG for the kettle. So you need to put it in the bathroom to boil the water. So much work!!! Just give me a Krups OR better yet! Set up a coffee station in the lobby for guests instead of charging $3.99 for a cup.
The lobby is wonderful. Lots of comfortable places to sit with a large bar (opens at 5:00). But you can only enjoy it until late afternoon when the entire lobby turns into a very popular restaurant. All that comfortable sitting area disappears and the lobby becomes the actual restaurant. I had to have guests come to our room to visit. Makes no sense!
Neighborhood? There really is no neighborhood. The hotel is it.
Had high hopes but will not return.

The Ramble Hotel should be a national marker for how to treat their patrons. Starting from valet, to check-in to all the entire staff working at Death & Company, it becomes immediately apparent that hospitality is the number one priority.

We dined at D&C for the evening and had the most amazing cocktails I've ever had. Bravo to the mixologists, they really have something unique and amazing going here.
The food is upscaled small bites, I had the buffalo tartar and was in heaven.

I could go on about D&C however this review is mainly about the hotel room and why my 3-star rating, which is rather generous.

We stayed in the presidential suite, which is a massive room like an apartment. It has a sink, full size residential refrigerator/freezer with ice, gigantic bathroom and a smaller bathroom in the main room. On the surface, this is mind blowing how large it is.

It isn't until you settle in and realize this isn't as grand as the price fetches. Make no mistake, this is a lovely hotel and a lovely room. It is simply *overpriced* by more than double. Never in my life have I paid this much for a room and we did so thinking luxury meets the price. I'm afraid it doesn't deliver.

Main points:
The room was 1349 a night.
Views are that of Five Points - tons of tiny apartments, thriving neighborhood but certainly nothing pretty or even interesting. The living room/dining table sits slightly above an apartment and balcony of the neighbor.

There's a sectional couch in the main room. This couch belongs in a bachelor pad or fraternity, not an upscale expensive room like this. It is *very* low to the floor making it rather difficult to get up. It doesn't sit upright, so you are always slouching and it constantly moves when you get up and sit down.

The most comfortable seat in the apartment: Dining room table chairs followed by the toilet. Not exaggerating.

I could go on, but the simple facts are these:
The Ramble Hotel has AMAZING staff and will take extremely good care of you.
The rooms are nice, they definitely are not scaled in quality to the price. I really hope the staff gets a piece of this crazy price!
If you like crafted spirit cocktails, this is the place to go again and again.
Spend the night somewhere else and save the money (you'll need it for the cocktails!), it will probably be a better value.

Putting it into perspective, for $1349 my wife and I could have got on a plane to San Francisco for the day, had fresh seafood lunch or dinner, with cocktails and flown home and still have money to tip the Uber driver. Just sayin'

Fishhawk1650: We appreciate you leaving a review and for your kind words regarding our staff. I apologize that the Pied-a-terre fell short of expectations – should you wish to spend less, we offer many guest rooms for a quarter of the cost. The Pied-a-terre is our presidential suite, and thus the most expensive at our hotel. - Andrew Guerra, General Manager, The Ramble Hotel

I arrived at night and was immediately immersed in the sleek and sexy vibe of Death & Co., the bar in the lobby. Check in was a breeze and the semi-industrial design aesthetic was continued throughout the elevator and hallways. My corner king room was AWESOME. Gorgeous design, with a comfortable seating area, nifty mini-bar (no mini bottles here) and huge bathroom. I grabbed a cocktail, dinner and drinks downstairs and was very pleased by the quality and happy to be able to toddle upstairs when I was done. Notwithstanding the nightclub downstairs and the huge, windows, the room was silent and with a really comfortable bed, my sleep was deep and restful. Breakfast was delicious even if there was no table service and the staff, to a person, was very friendly and helpful. If you are willing to be a little off the beaten track and are interested in a design forward hotel, this is the place for you!

Coco at the front desk brought me to tears with her kindness. I had a really rough day moving out of my house after a decade in Denver and didn’t get to the hotel until really late. I had been excited to enjoy the restaurants and try to have a special last night but my movers had arrived 9 hours late and thus I got to the hotel after the kitchens had closed. Coco saved the day. This next part might seem like something so simple, but she saw I was stressed and sad and she saw an opportunity to make the night special. While checking in, she said “I have an idea. What if you order something on Uber eats but enjoy here in our lobby with some champagne on the house?! I know you were excited about our bar and restaurant options and this way you could still enjoy our spaces!” Maybe it doesn’t seem like much, but I started crying. I needed that. We went up to the room and changed and ordered some pizza and when we came down to the lobby (now midnight!), she had fully set one of the lounge tables with plates, napkins, water, champagne flutes and a bucket with two splits of champagne. I got the impression she had bent the rules a bit to make this lobby dinner happen, but boy did it mean something to me! We had the nicest late night meal and I got that special send off for my last night in this city I have loved. The room was great, and the hotel decor is so cool, but with staff like this those details don’t even matter. Her kind gesture is something I will always remember.

We live North of Denver and booked a small block of rooms at The Ramble Hotel for our daughters wedding which took place in Denver. Not only was the staff a pleasure to work during the midst of trying to plan a wedding with COVID restrictions but were also extremely accommodating, courteous, super fun and went above and beyond in customer service to all our guests. The rooms, were a beautiful backdrop for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready and do pre-wedding photos - and so is the swanky lobby bar! This boutique hotel is not your typical chain hotel with a pool, etc., ..but if you want something unique, beautifully designed, clean and want to get a taste of Denver, this is your hotel. We will definitely be back!

Extremely friendly staff. The lobby is wonderful. Sun filled, coffee bar and long ACTUAL bar and lots of different comfortable seating arrangements. The rooms need some help. We booked for 6 days in a large suite which on paper looks swell but, in reality, did not work for an extended stay. Main problem? No place to unpack clothes. Two small drawers. No luggage rack. No hooks in the bathroom for towels. They had an idea to provide French Press coffee makers with a kettle which made no sense. Too much work and not a plug to use except in the bathroom. Huh? Huge glass shower (elegant!) except you had to run around to get wet. Poor water pressure. We eventually asked to be moved to a smaller room because the music from the bar downstairs kept us awake for 4 nights. Speaking of the bar......the ENTIRE lobby turns into a restaurant every evening. There goes the lobby if you want to meet up with friends. No where to sit and meet except back up to the room. This makes no sense. The amount we paid for our stay should have at least had complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning but instead they charge $4.00. They have to rethink things here....but again! Everyone was very pleasant EXCEPT the housekeeping team. Couldn't get a good morning out of any for our entire stay.

We had an amazing stay here for a long weekend in Denver. The hotel not only is beautiful, you of course get the most amazing cocktails at Death & Co. The rooms were a bit on the small side, we stayed in the lower tier double room. The location is great for hitting up great restaurants, shops and the artist markets that happen.
Service was great, Valet was wonderful and made parking a breeze. And the best cocktails are in the lobby.

I stayed here for the recent Eagles/Jimmy Buffet concert and walked to & from. Its about 5 city blocks depending on which Coors gate you use. After dark its well lighted and appeared safe, other than the homeless group that gathers on one side near some type of shelter.
