Nestled in the heart of the city, Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center is lauded for its warm service, particularly the breakfast crew, and its inviting atmosphere. The spacious suites and cleanliness receive consistent praise from guests, as does the complimentary breakfast with its omelet stations. While the central location is a boon for exploring nearby attractions, some guests feel updates are needed and note the high costs of extras like valet parking, which can affect the overall value.

My daughter and I went with my husband for his business conference.
The afternoon happy hour and the morning breakfast provided by the hotel were really appreciated and good. Porfirio, who makes made to order omelets in the morning, was very kind and welcoming and the omelets were delicious!
We were able to walk to most of the sights from this hotel, the art museum, Molly Brown house, the Evans house, Larimer square, etc.
Good place to stay!

P9393BJmargaretb, thank you for taking time to share your experiences. It looks like we exceeded all expectations and I'm so glad that you and your daughter were able to see the sights and hopefully the conference was a success for your husband. Porfirio is a rockstar and makes a mean omelette; it is the best way to start your day. We hope to see you again when your travels bring you back to Denver.

Took a family trip to Denver to the Denver Zoo. When we arrived to check in we were greeted by a pleasant young man working in the parking garage named Johnathan, he was very helpful and informative as we declined the parking offered by the hotel and he pointed us in the right direction of parking more affordable for us. When I checked in Nicholas checked me in quickly and easily so we could get our kids up to the room. He was also very pleasant upon check out a couple of days later in the morning, he's very sweet. Their breakfast has a great assortment of everything down to fresh cooked omelettes made by a very pleasant man, I give him kudos for working back there in the heat with a smile on his face, his omelettes are delicious and he made my 2 year old son fresh scrambled eggs with all the goodies in them! There were even things for my 6 month old to eat! The pool was small and crowded but that is just minor. All staff I encountered we're beyond helpful and pleasant! Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back again next time we're across the state!!

The hotel is conveniently located 1.5 blocks back from the 16th St Mall so very handy to the free Mall Bus Ride and shops. The rooms are spacious with a good sized lounge area so you have room to spread out. The staff were all very helpful and eager to assist where ever they could. Overall it was a great stay with only a few things we found disappointing. The hotel's main restaurant feels more like a brightly lit cafeteria with no ambiance at night. I wouldn't suggest eating dinner there and their wine list was also very disappointing. But overall, a nice place to stay in a great location

Booked this location last minute through Priceline for one night. My room was filthy it had mold and mildew inside of the bathroom. Stains were all on the furniture and trash was underneath the furniture and in the corner areas of the room. The next morning I was offered a free breakfast through the hotel for staying there. I had decided to go down and eat but after seeing that a hotel manager was serving guess without gloves on and touching his phone and noise I decided that it would be a health risk if I did so. My concerns were brought to the attention of the hotel staff and I was advised upon check out that I will get a full refund.

I couldn't wait to get all that nasty place and I was hoping I did not get sick as I sanitize my hands each time I touch something by accident at that location because I knew that they were not following protocol. Two days later, I received an email from the general manager Steve Santomo whom I believe is the manager who was in question, he stating that he apologize for the situation that happened. I really explain to him by email what happened and provide the documents in the form of photos.
Steve assured me that he would go over training with his managers but he was the one who made the disgusting mistake and that he would also make sure that the rooms are inspected and cleaned prior to guest checking in. I advised that in inspection needed to be done regarding the mold and mildew and then I thanked him for responding.

Today I received a call from Priceline who stated that Steve the district manager was only willing to give me $50 back for my stay. I was also informed of the Comments from the Hotel Staff which stated that I made a big deal about the hotel room.

I want to make sure I leave my experience here so that others who are thinking about booking a room here are very aware of what is going on at this location. It's unfortunate that pictures cannot be added because I would love to add the pictures as proof of what I'm saying is true for these managers like to jump on after you leave negative comments to try to protect their image.

PS: If you are looking for a nice place to say the AC Hotel is right behind this location and they have beautiful rooms and that are very clean!

Dear Tiffany, I am sorry that you are still disappointed with our response. I adjusted 40% off of your room for the incident you described and inspected the room myself upon receiving your email. With regards to the employee not wearing gloves, we did have a team member who had removed his gloves while he was in the process of replacing them and admitted to serving food using the required utensils. I can assure you this individual was counseled and realizes that this was a mistake. I was not on duty during the day that you witnessed this but followed up immediately when I returned to the hotel. All of our employees are trained to wear gloves and masks (although no longer required for vaccinated employees) and this new team member was re-trained on these procedures. I can assure you that this is an isolated incident as we follow our Hilton Clean Stay guidelines and take safety very seriously. In addition, we were one of the first downtown hotels to receive "5 Star certification" by the county of Denver for implementing strict Covid procedures to ensure the safety of our team members and our guests. We do make mistakes but hope that our guests are willing to give us a second chance as we will learn and improve from those mistakes.

This hotel is located in a great spot. It's two-block south of 16th Street Mall, which means that it is a ten-minute walk (Max) to plenty of great restaurants. The downtown buildings look beautiful at night as well. When you arrive (I suggest that you get the parking option with your room), immediately the Valets will advise you where to stop, as soon as you exit your vehicle, they take down your name, grab your keys and assist you in unloading your vehicle. Once you're finished, you enter the hotel, walk into the 1st floor, and you get a nice cool ambiance.

Now if you don't do the Digital Key, you have to go to the fourth floor to the lobby and check-in. However, if you choose the digital key, you take one of the four elevators to get to your room. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Everything works as it should, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The air conditions work phenomenally and are very quiet.

The housekeepers are very friendly and helpful, the front desk is very friendly as well. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. You have the choice of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruits, bagel, muffins, and the list goes on.

The gym is amazing, there are plenty of weights up to 80LBS of dumbells, two different style bike machines, multiple ellipticals, and treadmills to choose from. The pool was very clean and it's a salt water pool, so no chlorine burning eyes.

This hotel has many exceptional qualities… comfortable beds, fabulous breakfasts included (Porfirio Garcia makes amazing omelets and is very personable!), clean facility, great location, kind staff (Craig who checked us in was awesome—very personable, respectful, competent), and even the housekeeping staff we encountered are very pleasant. Towels are plentiful and soft, hot water is plenty hot, great room layout, well stocked.

The only downfall I believe stems from them being short staffed (which seems to be a serious issue in the service industry throughout the entire country right now)…. Not calling us back when we requested information they had to look up (how to clear the room phones voicemail flashing light…we still don’t know, but just unplugged the phone), having to call twice to get our room serviced a few days into our week-long stay (it’s apparently not automatic anymore here).

Overall, we would stay here again!

Parking was the only issue. They did recommend a nearby lot but it was literally a homeless camp with tents. We ended up finding parking directly in front of the hotel at $35/day. Not the cheapest but vehicle was safe and extremely accessible which was great.

Every single employee was extremely kind and helpful! Not once did we have a bad experience even with fellow hotel guest. Just nice folk all around.

The location was great and allowed us to walk everywhere we needed which was again perfect as we have a baby who HATES the car seat and screams. Everything was extremely close and accessible.

Having stayed at Embassy Suites before with a good experience, I expected the same at this hotel. That was not the case. There were good things about the hotel. It's stylish, clean and the breakfast is substantial. However, we experienced problems with the room. The shower didn't work properly and housekeeping did not make the beds. Also, the hotel room price is competitive, but they charge half the cost of the room to park for one night in the hotel lot. Way too much! Also, the front desk staff is hit or miss. Some are competent and pleasant, but others are incompetent and rude. All in all, I would not recommend staying here. There are many other choices that I believe would be better.

Thank you for your feedback - I'm sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. We have very competitive prices; Breakfast is included in the rate, Evening Reception is included as well where you get to enjoy light snacks and adult beverage at no cost. Valet parking is $49 per night - which can match the room rate during Holiday Season. Our rates varies from $99 to $600 depending on the season, and what is happening in Town.

The Embassy Suites in downtown Denver has been my preferred location to stay in Denver because of its convenience to the Convention Center, but also to other surrounding shops and restaurants. It is sometimes more expensive than a few other surrounding hotels, the fact that they have free breakfast in the morning and a free happy hour each evening makes up for that cost. Parking is expensive, but the crew works hard to meet your needs. Shout outs to Chef Porfirio for his morning omelettes and to Jade, the friendly and fun happy hour bartender.

The hotel is fantastic, very clean and upscale even though it was among the lower priced options compared to similar hotels in the area for our travel dates. The online check-in process was great, as the front desk was very busy when we arrived, and the ability to choose our own room was a fun perk! We actually found plenty of cheaper parking in the area and the location was great, very easy to get around. The happy hour and breakfast are fantastic as always. Rooms for spotless and staff were very helpful when we called for extra towels. The indoor pool is small, nothing fancy and to no hot tub, some of the other area hotels offer rooftop pools that look very nice. Nice. But the perks at embassy suites definitely makes it worth the trade-off!

When we went it was summer and I walked around with my daughter during the day and at night my husband joined us. The hotel said we would be fine walking around, but when we went to dinner late and came back late we generally did Ubers. We also did not have a car, but daytime I felt safe with my daughter walking.

That’s correct I had the same thing occur when I went to St. Lucia and stayed at a curio hotel. The window would not open and that was the way it was. I get you’re thinking let the air vent to circulate through the room so you have fresh air. Some hotels do some hotels though we’re probably a stupid question but you might need to ask that question before you book
