accommodating, friendly and helpful staff, they went out their way to help with any request. We had a ADA room which we found comfortable and will equipped for a extended stay. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. The bed was very commutable for me.
This is the most wonderful hotel we've ever stayed in!! So beautiful and unique! We loved the fantastic food, great showers, clean rooms, and the awesome staff!!! Kudos to Jen, Tayner, and Kristen for brightening our morning with their smiles and their helpfulness!! The great morning mini concert with a local singer was a wonderful added touch!!! Definitely coming back to the Catbird!!
The Catbird was a nice Hotel. I stayed 1 night. I did not eat breakfast. I had coffee. 2 cups. I don’t need a playroom or a fitness center or whatever bogus reason they use to charge me $35 extra. I do not appreciate it
Rooftop restaurant and bar was so much fun with lots of activities on the patio. Hotel staff was very accommodating. The rooms were spectacular with lots of natural light and the beds were super comfortable. I will be staying here again when I come back to Denver.
Update: Previously I had to book a stay for a work trip and then needed to cancel unexpectedly (gave over a weeks notice). Catbird was initially unable to refund me but I got in touch with them and was able to work out a solution. Really appreciate Benny for helping me out in a really tough situation. Fair warning, pay attention when booking discounted rates as they are not refundable.
We loved our 3-night stay at Catbird! We were impressed by the smart use of small space in the rooms, the homey vibe that blurs "lobby" with "living room" and "eat in kitchen" all at once, and the very friendly, helpful staff. If we went in a different season we would have gotten more out of the amenity fee (the hot tub was closed in Feb, but I get it) but the things we did use (rentals from the Play Room) were standouts against what is available at other hotels. Overall, we felt this place was a very good and extra stylish value for the money without making a huge dent in the wallet. The only thing that was not spectacular about our stay was the in-room coffee filters. They provide a pour over setup (nice!) but the filter glue melted immediately causing them to separate at the bottom and I got a big mouth full of grounds before realizing. Unfortunately, this happened with every. single. filter. so I was not able to enjoy any coffee in the room. They might need a new supplier or switch to reusable mesh. Shout outs to Lise (Lees?) IDK how to spell her name but we saw her every day and loved her, and Courtney for the great local recommendations. We will be back!…
I had an EXCELLENT stay for 3 nights. The staff was AWESOME, the room was DELIGHTFUL, and the rooftop New Year's party was AMAZING!! I can't wait for another stay, but hopefully the hot tubs will be completed... They looked REALLY NICE!! I MUST give some extra compliments to the engenering department/staff for the prompt knowledge of how to work the short throw projector in the room... It seriously added to the ambiance of the room. Thank you, Curtis!!
Catbird Hotel was definitely one of the best experiences I've had in the US and especially in Denver. The entire grounds are incredible. The room (the Catbird Microsuite) was perfect with high tech features, an incredible bathroom, and the projector was straight up amazing. The view blew our minds. Plus that rain shower... Not to mention the staff - wow. The entire crew, Jen, Kristen, Beverly, Ethan, Angelique, and the rest were just baller. Never felt more at home and welcomed and they made sure we had the absolute greatest time. Graham at the upstairs bar made us amazing holiday drinks before we made snow angels on the rooftop while it snowed. The freshly made food and kitchen was the icing on the cake, and I probably tried everything in the fridge and most things on the menu. Everything was 100. I'll be back shortly and actually will likely end up staying long term here in the future, thanks to the info I got from Donovan! Love this Catbird Squad. You'll see some doggos, but sadly no cats nor birds, aside from some dope curated art 😜…
The hotel lobby and rooms are very nice and modern. The staff is friendly. The check-in process was via self-serve computer terminals on the lobby. This is more typical of a budget hotel, not a hotel that charges premium rates. At the end of the check-in process, an additional charge is added for incidentals, but without explanation. The hotel charges a mandatory “amenity fee” of $25.00 per day which includes a meager made-to-order breakfast, but for ONLY ONE GUEST PER ROOM. The second guest in the room is charged an additional $10.00 We were told on day one that if we didn’t have breakfast one day that we would not be charged for the extra breakfast on a subsequent day. This promise was not honored. It wasn’t clear what one needs to do to have the room cleaned, but I’m sure if I had asked they would have had the room cleaned. Not a big deal. …
Wow! I truly enjoyed my experience at catbird hotel! The location was perfect, and the vibes fantastic. We were having trouble checking in and Kristen kindly helped us get situated and made the experience so enjoyable. She walked us through all MANY amenities and explained things so well. She made us feel right at home. The room was so spacious and the views were incredible! Loved having a small kitchen in the room and the loft style bed was unique and definitely added to our experience. Loved watching a movie on our projector screen The lobby has so many activities and with the resort fee you get a drink during happy hour and a freshly made yummy breakfast. We will definitely be back at catbird when we stay in Denver again!
