Thanks River for taking good care of me and all of the United pilots. Great job finding some other menu items and a nice new Bourbon to try. Good conversation as we make our way through the training routine. Hope they take good care of you and realize what a great asset your are to the hotel.

I had a pool view room on the 2nd floor room 214. Whilst the room was clean and comfortable it was also very dark due to large trees blocking the light. I stayed for 5 nights and every night there was a lot of noise from the pool which was supposed to close at 9pm but this was not enforced and was still being used at 11.30pm at night. There were also picnic tables in front of the rooms which were still being used after midnight. I would have thought that the hotel would not have allowed so much noise to go on so late into the night.
I found all of the front desk staff to be very friendly and helpful apart from the manager who was on duty on the morning shift. He was quite rude on two occasions when I had queried a charge on my room account. Someone had charged a meal in the restaurant to my room and once the manager found the receipt and could see it wasn’t signed by me and clearly said a different room number there was absolutely no apology from him whatsoever. Had I not checked my credit card statement I would not have known about the charge and it would have been much more difficult to prove it wasn’t me if I had checked out of the hotel and could not provide evidence.
As a Hilton Diamond member I would have expected better customer service from the manager.
The area the hotel is in is not good and there are a lot of homeless people close by some of which I saw loitering in the hotel car park. I would have thought given the fact that there is a $10 charge per night for parking the security would have been better.
With so many other Hilton hotels in the Denver area I would not stay at this location again.

My grandson and I travelled to Denver for a short vacation. We stayed at this Doubletree location. I was able to get upgraded to one of the suites which was great. That allowed my grandson, who is 12, to have a little privacy, and I had the bedroom. We ate at the restaurant multiple times, and it was extremely good. We especially loved the Teriyaki Wings and the Brisket Sandwich. One of the elevators was out of order, and the internet tended to be a little spotty. (When it worked, it worked really well; when it didn't work, we just let it go.) You have to ask 24 hours ahead to get room service, but all we really needed were some extra shampoos, some towels, and our trash taken away. The pool was a perfect temperature on a hot day. I loved that the pool was outside. The staff were all exceedingly nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Our team enjoyed providing warm hospitality throughout your stay for you and your grandson! Thank you for sharing a few details from your trip! We were happy to upgrade your accommodations and offer more space and privacy. How great to read you enjoyed our on-site amenities, especially Amberstone Grill. I cannot wait to share your compliments with the chef! While we have updated our housekeeping procedures rather than automatically providing a daily service, our team is always available to replenish items as needed. Do not hesitate to ask next time! Hopefully, you and your grandson can get away again soon!

We were in Denver for medical reasons and picked this hotel because it would have a restaurant and room service in the event we did not feel like going out. Checked in and immediately were told the restaurant was only open from 5-9pm, there was no room service and the only breakfast option was a Starbucks with some pitiful not even Starbucks provided breakfast items. My wife and I are both Hilton Diamond members so we get $24 per day food and beverage credit. Hard to use the credit with options so limited. No daily housekeeping although they would allow you to request service. All of this was blamed on inability to get staff. This is an excuse that many Hilton properties are using. I stayed at an Omni hotel the week prior and they had daily housekeeping, room service, and restaurants fully open. Hilton is going to have to up their game or independents and smaller chains are going to take a lot of business. We reserved a suite so my wife could rest and I could work but there was not even a desk in the suite. Had to work from a coffee table in front of a couch. Property is fairly well maintained in the lobby but rooms and property as a whole are very dated. It is near a homeless encampment on the river and homeless people were often transiting the parking lot. A commuter train track is between Denver and the hotel and virtually every time we left the hotel, we were caught by closed rail crossing guards. About the only positive thing I can say about this hotel is it is near the Stapleton redevelopment so there are lots of restaurants, shops, and services within a 10-15 minute drive.

An awful experience overall! We chose this hotel because their website claims they have shuttle service and an outdoor pool. There is NO shuttle service and hasn't been for years according to the front desk associates (Harley and Cass). The pool hours were posted incorrectly and differently on the website and in room information card. Apparently you now require a reservation to use it and it closes very early/ opens late. Beyond that the WiFi did not work and froze our phones when we tried to connect. The public hand sanitizers were empty, not ideal for a pandemic. Also, when I addressed my concerns to the front desk associates, mentioned earlier, they were beyond rude. I have stayed at many Hilton hotels before and have never been so dissatisfied. I will absolutely not be coming back and recommend you do not stay here.

Hello Angellica, I am very sorry that it has taken so long for us to get back to you, but I want to let you know that we do take your review very seriously, and have addressed the issues that you mentioned in your review. We did have a shuttle service that would take our guests within a 5 mile radius up until the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic, but it is true that we have not had an Airport Shuttle service in years. In the time since you have stayed with us, we have made some changes in our daily procedures to address the empty Sanitizer Stands which are now checked/filled at least twice daily. I do also want to personally apologize for the way you were treated by the staff members that you have mentioned, this has also been addressed and corrected. The pool schedule was definitely something new to every hotel, something new every day with this pandemic, and we are working toward something a little more accomodating during this upcoming season! I do hope that you will give us another chance to show you that we do strive to make every guest feel at home, should your travels bring you back to our area! Thank you again for your review, we hope to see you again soon!

I felt as if hotel staff was doing their best in trying to polish a turd. They probably all deserve raises, but guests deserve a more recently renovated and better maintained room, and if my room was an upgrade, then this property has some serious problems. Outdated everything, mystery stain on bedspread, chipped tub and cracked sink, in-room safe didn't work, TV was kinda tiny. Staff does their best, but it seems like the owner of this place is kind of a cheapskate.

This negative review is based on a 3-night stay in June 2023. Upon entry into my room I noticed four problems with the room: 1) no refrigerator (I had food that needed refrigeration), 2) bathroom sink drain was 100% clogged, TV remote was faulty – power button would shut TV off but the TV would immediately turn back on every time, 4) alarm clock was not working. I returned to front desk and gave them an opportunity to fix all issues the next day while I was gone. I was told management removed all refrigerators from rooms due to Covid concerns. Since this was more than 3 years after the pandemic began and no staff were even wearing masks I looked at the man incredulously. He just shrugged. When I returned the following afternoon there was a refrigerator in my room. I checked the thermostat because it was the first unit I had ever seen from which you could hear no sound while it was running. The silence was due the fact it was NOT running. The receptacle it was plugged into was not working. I plugged it into a different receptacle and I could hear the compressor start immediately. Obviously the employee that delivered it decided it was not his/her responsibility to check the unit before leaving. Regarding the bathroom sink, someone “might” have worked on the clog. I was now able to run water for 10-15 seconds before it would start to back up into the basin. Regarding the TV remote and alarm clock, no effort was made to fix either. On the second day the mute button and volume button on the remote both went on the fritz – in addition to the continued issue with the TV not turning off. It is also worth noting that the exterior of the window had not been cleaned for what had most likely been several years. It was caked with dirt. The worst was yet to come, however. My stay ended on a Saturday night. The hotel has a large ballroom and they hosted a wedding that I was told had 1,000 guests. When I returned that evening at 9:40 pm there was a parade of hotel guests driving in circles around the crammed parking lots searching for parking spots. Not only were there none on the hotel property, but a nearby residential street was completely full for four full blocks. I spoke to several very frustrated guests. I finally found a place on the residential street 45 minutes after my search began. When I then registered my disappointment with hotel staff at the desk they assured me no one would be charged a parking fee for the evening ($15 nightly). When I was relieved to finally check out the following morning I asked for a receipt to check parking fees. Not surprisingly, they tried to charge me for the previous night. After I started to summarize my experience the previous evening they quickly removed the parking fee (for one night). My experience at this Doubletree was exceptionally negative and they will never have my business again.

This hotel is only partially renovated. The older part has super dark halls and stained carpet. Inside the room the furniture is scratched and worn out. The beds and bathroom were clean enough but with all the other old carpet and furniture I was not comfortable. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms (unless you pay $30 a day to upgrade to the few renovated rooms available). Breakfast was grab and go with very little options. Fruit, Hostess pastries and warm orange juice. It wasn’t out out in time for us to have many options. We had to get several new keys throughout our stay because they would randomly quit working. I would not stay here again. Lobby is nice and the staff was really nice.

We stayed at this hotel for a dance convention. The lobby area was nice and roomy and the staff did a great job of keeping the trash in the areas emptied, this has been a problem at other convention hotels., so it was a refreshing change. We paid $10 extra a night for a “premium “ room, which compared to the older ones we saw was worth it. The room was very small! The room had two double beds which were small but comfortable and a single chair. We were in room 757 which had a nice view of downtown and the mountains. We didn’t have any issues with noise or temperature control. Although the temperature in the shower was finicky and varied between scalding hot and cold with not much in-between.
The sports bar was severely understaffed when we were there but the workers were doing the best they could. The onsite Starbucks had a very limited selection. And of course the warm Doubletree cookies are always good.

We stayed here for 4 nights over memorial day weekend. The property is very clean and the staff were absolutely wonderful. When inclement weather struck, and my colleagues and I had our event plans cancelled, I asked the staff if they had a spare conference room we could borrow for a while so we could avoid crowding in the lobby common area and Michael and team came through.

Only criticism I can muster is that parking is difficult, and at first I did not know about the parking garage on the back of the property. I would propose better signage indicating there is parking back there, instead of it going unreferenced as it might appear like a service enterance.
