This was a repeat trip to Dunton Hot Springs, which is still a magical place to visit! We wanted to experience Dunton with snow and visited in November last year, overlapping the Thanksgiving dinner. We still enjoyed: the hot springs, the relaxed, friendly atmosphere, the shared great room for drinks, meals & games and the amazing scenery/setting. In the snow,... More

This is one of the very first times I have been surprised by accommodations, facilities, and amenities. This place is sorely UNDER marketed, it is complete and absolute paradise. We were here 3 nights and every day/night was equally enjoyable. The food is amazing and different everyday. All the food is from local markets and is served by some of... More

Recently we celebrated my 70th BD with our grown children and grandchildren at Dunton Hot Springs, a place we had all been wanting to visit for years. Photos online could hardly prepare us for such a magical and thoroughly enjoyable experience. From the luxuriously comfy and cozy cabins, to the exquisite bathhouse and outdoor hot springs, to the delightful dining... More

Where do I begin? How about stepping back a hundred years to the old west, to the town that Butch Cassidy escaped to after robbing the bank in Telluride. It is steeped in history and charm, you feel like a pioneer, but a pampered and utterly spoiled one. Each and every member of staff are not only cheery but go... More

This turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to the Southwest and boy was I surprised about that for our family of 4 with two older teens. It was a long drive to get there from Denver, and we had a great time stopping along the way on the Million Dollar Highway, but the last couple... More

Having wished to visit Dunton Hot Springs for quite a few years, I was thrilled to book "a soak & a meal" for myself & a friend. Having been past Dunton Hot Springs a few times on outings in the mountains (& also after checking out their web-site). I was sure that Dunton Hot Springs must have marvelous food, great... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the well house cabin the first week of January we enjoyed the cabins high ceilings, beautiful view and private indoor hot spring. We loved snow shoeing on pristine snow. They have particularly great snow shoeing equipment. A magical experience and it wasn't too cold. We sat around the campfire with drinks in the evening... More

So I had dreamed of visiting here for years, I invited some family and we rented Potter House. This could have been part of my problem. The house is a little walk from the town, a problem when you have a young child, when I booked I was told it was a short walk. The house also has a lot... More

I had seen pictures and heard from my brother how special this place really was. When we drove and everything was blanketed with white snow I was blown away. I have traveled all over and very few places visually blow you away immediately, Dunton is that place. We stayed in Christie's Tent and loved it's location next to the Library... More

The setting and authenticity of Dunton is incredible and hard to beat. Dunton had been on my bucket list for some time so my expectations were very high. I spent a lot of time speaking with reservations before booking about the activities, hiking and food options since I was traveling with 3 children. I was led to believe that accommodating... More
