started staying at the siesta off and on over 15 years ago--after some bad experiences elsewhere, I have not stayed anywhere else for many years--rooms are very clean--WARM in the winter--had a 9 degree night a couple of years ago, but the wall furnace kept the room toasty--neat, rustic furnishings--local owners WANT you to have a comfortable stay, so you...

The owners are awesome. personal service and fun to visit with. They had no problems with my service dog. The rooms are clean and priced very reasonable. My sister and I loved the eclectic furnishings. The gazebo and benches in the center of the court were perfect for relaxing after a busy day. It is a little way to downtown,...

I am extremely tardy in writing this review for the Siesta Motel. My wife and I stayed there last summer and it was a great experience. We were originally booked in a room that wasn't very big and smelled like cigarette smoke due to someone "breaking the rules", and when we went to the front office they upgraded us to...

We love quaint mom and pop establishments, and rustic cabin type settings. I love giving good reviews...but in the case of the Siesta Motel my husband and I were quite disappointed. Firstly, however, credit where credit is due... The room was very clean! I'll give it that. Housekeeping did a good job with not only cleaning, but leaving little personal...

We were so surprised at this place. The mom/pop owners could not have been any nicer and the room was huge and fantastic! Housekeeping even left a cute towel art flower on the bed. The room was very clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. We were on the end of the complex closest to 550 and had huge windows on 2...

The Siesta Motel is a perfect place to stay...cozy, clean, convenient and close to the Animas Mountain hiking trail! We stayed 1 night in a queen size bed room visiting friends before driving to another CO town. Checking in and out was easy, it's the drive up to the door type of motel which is perfect for hauling luggage, cooler,...

Great place to stay. They had the towels in the shape of a flower on the bed!! The room had an artistic touch, the towels and everything was very good quality, the hotel was well maintained. The staff was friendly. GREAT neon sign out front. A definite throwback to the 50's and anyone with a desire for staying in vintage...

It's an older place, but one that is very well maintained and clean. The beds are comfortable and in the room I stayed in had two recliners which was a very nice touch. It's a bit far from downtown and the parking lot is a kinda of tight, so be careful parking. Overall a very good place to stay.

Dear Dr1Hour, Thank you for your 4 Star Review. We work very hard to make all our guests stay with us a pleasant one. We are located on the quiet side of town, 1.7 Miles North of The Durango Silverton Train which is located at the South end of town. We do have 1 parking spot per room with 2...

I was in Durango to ride the Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. I found this motel on Trip Advisor and was impressed with the reviews. I absolutely loved the place I stayed in #117 which was a two bedroom/kitchenette and it had everything my group could ask for. I stay at a place in Kure Beach NC because it too is...

Our room averaged $100 a night with a kitchenette with one broken burner and no saucepan. Although it is non-smoking, the room smelled (from decades of smokers?) and looked tired - almost dirty but I don't think it was actually and one of the pluses was a daily maid service. The decor was not so much retro as bizarre -...
