We stayed 3 nights while traveling and exploring Durango. RV sites are decent and staff is nice. Free cable advertised but not available. Free internet very slow when it worked. Did not use bathrooms or laundry so cannot comment. Pet friendly.

The best thing going for this place is the Durango Train passes by the campgrounds. Site are level and gravel. It was had to get ATT in the camper and the Internet was not that great. Worst, they advertise having all rhea great cable stations and had NONE. No cable service at all. The showers we small and the bathroom...

United Campground in Durango is set in the woods with beautiful views AND all the amenities you would want while camping. Initially we booked just one night at United coming on a recommendation from two or three other previous campers. It was getting towards the end of season and a few of the Durango campgrounds were closed. I left a...

Although there was considerable open grass space, tent campers were crammed together - each site within a few feet of another. Bathrooms a long way off - longest distance a football field away and then doors had push buttons locks on them. Also very windy as the wind at times roars down the valley, blowing over tents. Owner not very...

We first stayed at this campground in 1976. It is very well maintained with quite a few large, level sites that will accommodate larger rigs. The last time we stayed here (that would have been the 3rd time we stayed), probably in the late 80s, we were in a pickup with a camper on it. This time we were in...

We stayed here for 4 nights. We had a wonderful spot just up the hill from the train tracks. Our boys loved watching the trains to by everyday. The showers/bathrooms were clean. The laundry room was huge and the machines worked great. We used the trolley our last night there with no issues. Can't wait to go back!

We are new to RV'ing and this was our first RV park visit. The place itself is nice, clean, off the road and pretty quiet. It isn't very big which is also nice, but the spots are pretty tight and very close to each other. We had to maneuver our travel trailer so that it would fit between the trailer...

I did a review for Lightner, comparing it with United. Both have showers, pool and store. I loved Lightner, but my family prefers United for camping in Durango. I do love that you pitch your tent on a soft lawn. We went again beginning of August. More crowded than the weekends we usually go in June but I don't think...

Campsite was great! Owners were friendly and the shop/store was convenient. The free trolley was nice and my daughter and I used this to do some shopping while the boys fished. A little difficult pulling into the spot we were assigned based on the proximity of other campers but the effort was definitely worth the work. Thank you for the...

This is our first stay at United but 4th visit to the Durango area. United is very close to the Animas River (a highpoint for us), and the narrow gauge train runs at the edge of the campground several times a day - very neat. The showers, bathrooms, and laundry are all kept very clean. The pool is spotless. The...
