We stayed at the Durango KOA for several days in September 2016. Even though the campground is hilly our site was some what level. The park is convenient to Wal-Mart, Durango/Silverton RR, Mesa Verde and Million dollar highway as well as other sites. The park and rest rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. As you check...

I stayed for two weeks at the very end of the season, to work from home during the day and venture out every afternoon, evening, and weekend. I stayed in a 25 foot travel trailer, and this KOA was a great place for that, I had a great view of some Aspen trees and could sit on the picnic table...

Campground is about 7 miles southeast of town, on a hillside with nice views. Careful when arriving-- KOA sign is visible from highway but entry is easy to miss after dark. Our cabin seemed brand new. Staff were extremely nice and helpful except for one lady who must have had a really bad day. Happens to us all. Didn't get...

A very unique park with lots of trees and landscaping. The rates are mid range and the sites are nice with clean areas and a nice BBQ & fire pit. The late evening sunset was a site to behold and the sunrise wasn't bad either.

We only stayed here one night on our trip. Staff was friendly. Nice clean resort. We would stay again. Kids loved the pool and movie under the stars! My only complaint was the laundry facilities were a pretty good walk from where we were staying. But the walk probably did me some good too!

Lucky enough to get a last minute reservation for Labor Day weekend, it was meant to be! Wonderful hosts! Clean, well organized, comfortable and safe. Clean shower/toilet facilities, good energy. We tent camped and the extra, clean wood chips really helped when the thunderstorm rolled through. Will be staying there again.

Excellent KOA. Very well maintained and the layout of the park is very well thought out. Owners were extremely helpful. Nice dog areas, great waffle in the morning. We didn't have a problem with road noise, but our motorhome is very well insulated. Probably the best KOA we have stayed at.

We stayed here from little old England and loved looking at the mad, massive RVs and tattoos, which are about the size of a small county back where we come from. Our cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed to cook meals for the children and entertain them with a camp fire. And the pizzas are a great...

The Durango KOA, conveniently located about 8 miles east of downtown Durango is a motorcycle-friendly, well laid out, clean, and friendly place to stay. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, and the overall organization of the site. I've stayed in several KOAs that can't hold a candle to this one! In fact, I'd very highly recommend this...

Beautiful scenery every where you look. Great atmosphere everywhere we went. Everyone just had a positive attitude and was really helpful. Downtown was really fun plenty of shops and places to eat to occupy the day and just saying the food was great.
