Rooms were very small and dated. Bathroom had no counter space and was cramped. Beds were not that comfortable. The windows had to be propped open with a stick if you wanted them open and not use the air conditioner. Manager/owner was not very friendly and almost rude. Definitely would not stay here again.

Last minute booking on a Saturday night in peak Colorado travel season...at $130, this was expensive, but it was at least $75 LESS than anything else in town, including chain hotels with much lower ratings. This is a clean, cozy, family owned motel on the highway heading north out of town. No frills, no problems, comfortable beds, plenty of hot...

I needed something that was moderately priced but wasn't too sketchy. This fit the bill. The motel is family owned, and the people are so nice! The location is great. It's right off Main Ave/550. There are two coffee shops (Durango Joe's and 81301) walking distance and a couple of places to go eat (Yellow Carrot and Serious Texas BBQ)....

Apparently the old managers were let go, and new management is now in place. Very nice young man checked us in, and was most accommodating. The rooms had been updated, and the windows repaired. Back to a nice little Motor Inn.

Courteous and friendly staff compliments this convenient motel close to downtown. While it was a little more than I wanted to pay, we enjoyed the cleanliness, frig and microwave. Best of all was its charm.

Booking rooms on line and I didnt really want to spend $250 a night if I was just "passin' thru". It's clean, wi-fi, I had a room with a nice sized fridge, sink, stove, remodled recently, etc. Outdoor area with benches. grill, etc, quiet, you park right outside your room. Here;s the main reason I would stay there again. The people...

We were very pleased with our stay at The Caboose motel in mid-May. It was appealing from the beginning. It is a " Mom&Pop" owned by one family Rob& Maureen Kulovitz . The outside is quite charming with pretty flowers and well maintained grounds. There is no free breakfast but we didn't care as a nice coffee shop ( I...

We found this place by accident after a place down the street rented our room out from under us. (Now glad that they did) The lady at the desk was very friendly and accomodating. It was a holiday weekend (Memorial day) on a Sunday night. She could have charged us whatever she wanted, but instead gave us a discount! The...

The Caboose Motel is a classic American road motel, all the way down to the knotty pine paneling and the neon sign. The owners were on site and very attentive during our three day stay. There was a guy smoking outside, but seriously, the hotel staff can't control everyone's behavior. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette completely functional, good...
