My husband and I recently stayed at the Durango Downtown Inn for three evenings. The place was clean and the staff was amazing! They were very helpful answering questions about the area etc. And they were very friendly. The location is ideal for getting around and exploring by foot. It is close to anything you might need or want to...

Stayed here 3 times this summer. Love the location, enjoy being by the river, and downtown with in walking distance. Accommodations are clean, it's fairly quite, but nothing fancy. A little less chainee in its feel. What I do not like and as others here have stated is the price. For most summer months after all the taxes it will...

We stayed at the Durango Downtown Inn on 8/10-11, 2016, having booked it through Trip Advisor/Booking.com. When we checked in, it was impossible to change rooms from a smoking room- it really stank... but that's not all. The clock radio was broken and the wake-up call the next day never came. The bedside lamp was broken and behind the end-tables...

I paid over 100 dollars for the room and the location was perfect and they were dog friendly which was critical for us. The room was nice but nothing special. Breakfast was not included and the towels were very rough. The look of the hotel was very dated but it did seem to be clean.

Rooms on the back side have a great view of the river. Lots of parking. Super clean-qiet rooms. It is close to downtown and we walked to the Narrow Gauge Railroad terminal. Try the Ska Brewery as well as Carver Brewery downtown.

This was our 3rd year in a row to stay at this hotel but will probably be our last. Despite the fact that it is in a perfect location for the downtown area, the rooms are just too small and outdated and the bathrooms are so small, you can hardly move around in them. We were there for 3 days...

My wife and I stayed at the Durango Downtown Inn over a weekend. The room was very clean, spacious and light. It was equipped with a microwave oven and refrigerator (for $10/night extra). There is a supermarket next door, making affordable in-room dining a convenient reality. (The hotel, according to an employee, designates certain rooms for those who wish to...

There is lots of good things to say about the DDI such as a friendly staff, great location, well-kept grounds, and clean rooms. Things I didn't like, though, really bothered me. No continental breakfast, in the morning, at a place that calls itself a "hotel." Absolutely horrible WiFi, spotty at best. Flying bugs in the rooms, this is probably due...

Location was perfect. River trail, Steamworks Brewery, Oscar's for breakfast, Train, Farmer's Market (Sat. morning) etc. - all within walking distance. Our room was clean, furniture was a little outdated and the pool was not clean. The pool/hot tub room is large, has lots of chairs, bathrooms and plenty of towels. But, he water had a visible film on top,...

This motel is listed as a block off Main Street but is really two or three blocks from the action - which makes it perfect for spending a little time relaxing by the pool, around the table in the shady courtyard, or walking the river trail just behind the motel. Room are fine and the Applebee Restaurant is attached so...
