We spent four nights in this hotel. What a lovely property and a great location. Our room was spectacular. It even had a river stone fireplace in the room. The room was immaculate, the maid service prompt and efficient. the breakfast staff were wonderful. They made breakfast a real pleasure.

Nice room. Great breakfast people, very attentive. I am a Platinum member and have not experienced a better Residence Inn breakfast experience. We stayed for two nights. Our room was not cleaned after the first day. We mentioned to the front desk at the evening and they gave fresh towels, but never asked which room. Attention to detail, hmm.

Jeff, Thank you for your good comments regarding the breakfast and for bringing the room service issue to my attention. I will share your comments with the staff. This is something that should have been brought to my attention.

The room we had was past due for refreshing. Cabinets were worn, mattress was sagging, and the chair cushions were blown. The elevator made weird noises. There was a barking dog in the room next door who isn't happy about being left by its owners. We checked out early. Just didn't meet our expectations or the quality of other Residence...

We had a great room with a comfortable bed, our 2 dogs were with us & there was a nice area for them outside. The first night we were there they had a mixer & fixed all the guests hamburgers with all the fixings, salad & free beer & wine.

Large very clean rooms are a Hallmark of Residence Inn. This location is within walking distance of downtown. The only negative is that compared to other Residence Inns the breakfast was not up to par. Offered two types of eggs and turkey sausage but that may because of the area. Just not my style. Very quality staff.

I'm more inclined to stay at a Hilton Hotel, but this Residence was beyond expectation. The room itself was huge and appeared brand new. The hotel was very well maintained and the staff was friendly. I especially enjoyed the basketball court, which is a unique option that was a lot of fun.

Great free breakfast. Easy one mile walk to downtown. Easy access to river walk...Less than a half mile. Dog friendly. We would stay here again. The one bedroom suite slept four comfortably with the addition of a rollaway.

October 15, 2016 - Talked with Tyra Sandoval at the front desk while we were still at Cortez. She told me all about the Residence Inn at Durango; the fitness center, the breakfast area, the distance from the Durango and Silverton Railroad, etc. I was very impressed and told her that I might see her when we check into the...

We had such a great stay at the one in Amarillo and thought we would again in Durango. My only complaint is that the kitchen was not nearly as clean as the other one. I don't like using utensils that are in unlined drawers. Also, the glass dishes had rings in bottoms as well as the ones in the bathrooms....
