3 enjoyable days at Purgatory. Our condo in the Village Center building was comfortable, attractive, and quiet.. It is a terrific place for families, and we enjoyed watching kids and parents taking part in all the activities.

This resort is very nice, the staff are really nice and helpful also. The views and surroundings and location make you feel like you have left the world behind. My family loved it here and I would recommend it to anyone.

This was the first time we had ever stayed somewhere like this. We really enjoyed the condo we had. Full kitchen. The activities at the resort were really fun. Just wished we would of bought the pass but thought it was going to rain. My daughter begged to do more activities. Everyone very friendly. The only cons I can think...

Like most condo rentals, it all depends on the owner. Unit 54 is obviously owned by someone who just does not care. From the bed frame held up by a piece of wood, to the lack of pool towels, to the unclean sheets on the pull out bed and lack of pillows it's again obvious that these owners don't care...

I work for America's leading ski lift company. Stayed here for a week while we worked on on of the lifts. Myself and another technician stayed in two bedroom condo. It was spacious enough for a family to stay in comfortably. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which was nice. Our unit had a fireplace as well. Someone came...

Purgatory Resort offers outstanding customer service and staff. Beware if you stay in one of the individually owned condos.Improvements and condo amenities are owner's responsibility. Our mattress was uncomfortable (murphy bed) and hot water took a long time to reach the shower. Next time I will stay in one of the resort rooms. Their mattresses are most likely replaced on...

I made a terrible mistake today. Took a lift with a rental bike to the top of the mountain. I'm seriously cherishing life now. I thought I absolutely was going to die or live out the rest of my years with one non functioning leg and no arms. Best case scenario. Absolutely the most terrifying thing I've ever done. I...

Sometimes it pays to be a cheapskate. My family and I booked a river-rafting trip in Durango and hoped to find a nearby hotel to dry off in for the night, but everything decent was -- as you'd expect in Durango in July -- either exorbitantly priced or poorly configured for our needs. Then I hit upon the notion of...

Good family friendly resort with a lot of varied activities going on at all times that fit adults and children of all ages. Great location and view. It is Colorado and even in the summer you don't need central air conditioning in the condos and it is not provided; however, we were out and about most of the time so...
