I had a room at ground level. The room was clean, bed was good. The heating was centrally managed, and a little warm for me (I like cold rooms, when I have to sleep ;-) ). The only way to chill the room was to open the large window door. Because the hotel is located between two roads, there was...

Good rural location on the Dutch- Belgian Border and very helpful friendly English speaking staff in a spotlessly clean and well presented hotel. We spent a night here in late September the hotel is unusually located in the middle of the road, forming its own small sort of Island and from old photos inside it shows that it was originally...

We were on route to Lommel and picked this for our overnight stay. We arrived to discover we had booked for the next night by mistake. They sorted it and found us two rooms. We had a relaxing drink in the garden before a really super dinner in their restaurant. It proved to be a very popular restaurant especially for...

People are very nice. But: Hotel is situated on a traffic island between two busy roads with no on-site parking, so you must cross the road with your luggage. Tiny rooms with poor lighting and no place to work. No air conditioning, so you have to leave the windows open to get air. So there flies in the room, and...

This hotel was very clean and spacious. The rooms where a good size with all you would expect. The food was especially good and a fair price. The hotel is half in Belgium and half in Holland. It was an old border control. The downside was the mushroom farm over the road so you can imagine the smell. The outside...

we had room 202, on the second floor, there is a working lift. The hotel is on an 'island' which was the border between Holland and Belgium, so there is through traffic on both sides of the hotel - not a problem with the window closed. Clean and pleasant room; comfortable bed and pillows; could have been more generous with...

This is one of those unique hotels that has quite a story to it. Situated on the Netherlands - Belgium border it was a former border post. The road between Reusel and Arendonk literally splits and goes around the building and then converge again on the other side. It is a delightful hotel with a good restaurant and well worth...

If you can live with the noise of passing tractors this is a great place to start exploring 'de Kempen'. Either by car, bike or foot. Rooms are small but clean and do have all the necessaries required. Friendly personnel, great breakfast.
