This was my seventh visit to the Cabins at Country Road. It has served as a long-weekend getaway destination for me, my family, and friends. The cabins are located approximately 40 minutes from Denver, and upon arrival, guests are totally immersed in nature. The cabins are located on private grounds, all situated close to the river. The constant sound of...

We stayed here for 4 days in August and the highway noise was terrible during the day. The motorcycles and trucks seemed right at our door. The cabin has no air conditioning and you had to leave the windows open for ventilation and being about 50 yds from the highway, the noise was noticeable and loud. Our cabin, the chicken...

Thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and private setting overlooking river. The sound of the water at night and the cool breezes promoted restful sleep and a relaxing retreat from all our cares. The property is very clean and well maintained. Our cabin was very charming--attractively decorated with quality linens and a comfy bed. Very spacious for a couple. The complimentary country...

Our 2nd trip back here from CA (Aug 20-23). Exceeds our expectations every time. This is such a hidden gem, I hope this place doesn't get too popular! :P The family that owns the Cabins are the best and show this through all of their personalized touches, love, and attention towards their guests and their beautiful property. It's the perfect...

We stayed in the Bootlegger Barn cabin. From the moment we walked through the doors, the stress just fell off of our shoulders. The barn is very charming, to say the least. The grounds are peaceful, next to the creek. Cool summer nights and amazing breakfasts from the Country Road Café. The hosts are amazing! This is the place to...

We spent 4 nights here because we were attending a concert at Red Rocks. (RR is about 15 minutes away and you come from the opposite direction as Denver, so no traffic!) The small town of Kitteridge and nearby Evergreen are lovely little towns with several good restaurants each and each a great location for exploring the many nearby parks...

We had two breakfasts at the Country Road Cafe. The food is superb and portions huge. The service is also excellent. A real experience of breakfast American style. I can recommend either the eggs Benedict, pancakes or scrambled eggs - all come with loads of choice!

We stayed in the Bootlegger Barn cabin which is just as the pictures on their website show. It is very cozy. The location is great, right along Bear Creek. One morning as I enjoyed my coffee at the sitting area by the creek, two deers came right by me! The Bootlegger Barn cabin is right next to the Chicken Coop...

My fiancé surprised me with an overnight stay at the Cabins at Country Road. There's not much to see from the road when you first pull in, so I wasn't sure what to expect. But when we were shown to our cabin, I never wanted to leave! We cooked dinner for ourselves in the awesome kitchen while watching Harry Potter...

We stayed at the Chicken Coop for our three day weekend getaway. It was an absolutely amazing experience! I had read all the wonderful reviews before booking and was hoping it would live up to my high expectations.....well guess what, it did! From the minute we checked in, we felt at home! I don't think there is anything I would...
