The hotel staff were fantastic! Dan at the check-in desk was very helpful! The hot breakfast was very good!! Everyone was very friendly and pleasant! The pool and hot tub were well maintained as was the fitness center.
The hotel is very clean. Close to restaurants and shopping. We are visiting during the fires currently burning in northern Colorado. I've witnessed the hotel being very compassionate to the evacuees and fire fighters. It's nice to see my community doing it's part during this tragic time. I'm proud to say Fort Collins is my home. And the surrounding businesses are doing there part. It brings me hope for better times to come.
We'd been on the road for awhile; not the first Comfort Inn we'd stopped at. It's not a new hotel, but clean and well-maintained. As always, the staff is great. Evening guy was downright chipper, and a nice woman in the morning. Comfortable room. We were right across the hall from the elevator, but weren't bothered by it at all. Don't quite get the $100 hold on the cc - it doesn't show up on the bill so it's not a big deal, but it's pretty unusual and I don't really see the need. Breakfast was still the coffee, juice, and grab and go bag. They tried to provide lots of options anyway - different pastries and fruit cups.
We were charged an additional $100 saying that we smoked in the room, I told her there was NO WAY we smoked in the room. She said there was proof, I asked for the proof and guess what there WAS NO PROOF, however, we still did not receive a refund. I have not even received a return phone call as I requested. The comfort suites in Englewood that we stayed at for four nights never tried to charge us for something we did not do and were also friendlier than the staff at the one in Fort Collins. STAY AWAY from this overpriced hotel!
We stayed here 9 days and felt at home. We would definitely stay again if we are in Fort Collins. Dog fee was $15 per day. The staff was excellent, accommodating and very friendly. The room was large with a sofa and table & chairs, microwave and refrigerator. Every morning greeted us with scrambled eggs or cheese omelet with sliced ham, sausage and/or bacon. Plus there was a variety of cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels and hard boiled eggs. Coffee was always available in the lobby. The room was well insulated for heat and against noise. We greatly appreciated that the entire place was non smoking. Unfortunately certain people left cigarette buts and dog droppings outside even though the motel offered dog bags. The only thing lacking was a place to hang wet towels other than a small hook on the back of the bathroom door and the shower rod. Because this motel was off the main roads, we didn't hear road noise. Plus there was easy access to CSU Veterinary Hospital, restaurants and various stores. Very happy we chose to stay here!…
