Not the best experience at this place. We were in room 205, a Family Suite. There were 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch in the "living room", which did not have anything else it beside the TV on the wall. The "kitchen" consisted of a microwave, a sink and a small ice-caked fridge. No coffee maker was provided. In the cabinets there weren't any cups, plates, or any utensils (except for the few in the pic provided.) The inside of the kitchen cabinets were very dirty. We only were given towels for 2 people even though this was a "Family Suite." Luckily i found someone to ask for more towels. The unit was not real clean either. The floor left our socks black. The counters and few bits of furniture in the room were dusty. The tiny bathroom was dank and the lock was broken and hanging askew. Whoever painted did an awful job. Paint was peeling everywhere. Our balcony had 2 chairs on it but was generally bleak and unappealing. Oh, also our room door did not shut and lock properly. One of the fans in the room did not function. Furniture looked worn and banged up. The beds were comfortable though with crisp fresh sheets and had 4 nice pillows. That was probably the best thing about the room. The location is ideal too. I wish I had spent more time looking for another place. Fortunately we were there for only one night. I would not recommend this place. With improved maintenance/cleaning this place could be so cute, charming and sweet. But at this time, it does have a feeling of a being a hostel instead of a moderately high end hotel. Final grumble...at 9am the next morning, we left to get breakfast. We saw that the maid had started cleaning the room next to ours. My sister talked to her and told her that we were just going for breakfast and that we had not checked out and to not clean the room yet. Upon our return, we saw that she had entered, had replaced all the towels and had taken the sheets off our bed. All our stuff was still up there. Wtf? Plus she had thrown something away that belonged to my little nephew. We ended up washing up and using most of the new towels that she had just put out.…
The better name is Hotel Fiasco. We traveled for business and hoped for something above 1970’s hippies hideaway. The room is not equipped for anything but sleeping. If you are on the first floor, even that is a stretch. The ceiling has zero sound barrier. The shower looks like someone spent time cooking meth between days on the slopes. The wood floor was dusty, dirty, and sticky in some places. When the staff left at 8pm the spotty Wi-Fi stopped working completely. There are very few outlets in the room to charge any electronics. The only good thing is we only had to endure it for one night. My advice is find somewhere else to stay.
My hotel room was perfectly sized for my dog and I (bonus points because they’re pet friendly) Everything was clean and the hotel itself has a cozy mountain lodge feel - we felt right at home! Helpful and kind staff. Will definitely be returning!
Our hotel room was deplorable (Room 107). This is without any hesitation or exaggeration. The room was filthy! The floor was dirty and had debris all over it. There was a dark ring in the toilet. Consistent paint peeling around the bathroom. There was duct tape around the shower head, but despite that it still leaked. There was corrosion around the shower handle. There was caked on dust on the floor heater. There was a large draft coming from the window, which the bed sat under. It was 3 degrees that evening. Needless to say, it was cold. The bathroom sink faucet on the left side handle was bent. The white comforter which stated Holiday Inn possessed a large dark stain on it. The sitting chair was dirty and had a sunk in mark where it no longer held any cushion. The next two items are smaller items, but represents the lack of detail and cleanliness; The wine fridge had an ice block in the back of it and the TV shelf was old/worn wood and it smelled. I would not set my clothes on this. I included several pictures that shows what it was that I have described above. In addition, I included a picture of the name(s) of those who "cleaned" the room that was on an envelop to leave a tip in. Needless to say we did not leave a tip. I paid $237.36 for one night. For this amount of money paid and for what it was that I stayed in, is completely inappropriate.…
Frisco must not have code inspectors because if they did, this place would never pass. First don't go by the pictures on their web site, I have no idea where those were taken! Way over priced for one night. No room heat or A/C other than a space heater and table fan. One of the worst lodging experiences we've had in 20 years and I have written hundreds of reviews. Would never recommend and would never stay here again. See pictures.
I have no idea what rooms the other reviewers stayed in but it was not the room we stayed in. There are so many things that made our stay horrible. First the room was filthy, hair in the bed when sheets were pulled back, shower panels had black mold inbetween them, floor heater had no top cover and was filled with dirt and dust and walls had stains. Next up furniture....really.. my daughters first dorm furniture looked better. Headboard was missing from wall although the thing it hung on was still there. Nightstands or should I call them wooden crates had drink rings and were beat up. The TV stand was totally beat up. Next...no air conditioning and no ceiling fan, only heat, couldn't open window as it looked out onto another rooms deck. Room was stuffy and hot. Next....front desk person leaves at 9pm, no one to man front desk and they just leave the front door unlocked all night, huge safety concern. Couldn't wait to leave, we stayed one night which was one too many. …
Room was dirty, pubic hair on the bed, mold on the bath tile, thick layer of dust around the beds. Had to clean in room fan… turned two wipes grey so much dirt. Walls paper thin, noise people in next room didn’t sleep great. Manager had no interest in compensating us… took a not my problem attitude.
My wife and I can’t thank Josh enough for making our stay so great! We booked out the majority of the rooms for our wedding and staff allowed us to nearly take over the hotel to host our family and friends. The common spaces were great for mingling and gathering, as well as for setting out snacks and drinks for our guests. Any needs were met when they came up and the mix of room sizes and layouts kept everyone comfortable. Prices were low for a mountain town hotel and the location was convenient being in walking distance of restaurants and bars.
Great location and nice staff but the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Between the late night noise from people and restaurants on Main Street and the loud pounding sound from the steps of people staying above us, we didn’t get much sleep.
Rented all but two of the rooms for a weekend wedding. Fabulous experience. Staff was accommodating , friendly and fun. Josh was sooo helpful. When we had to adjust and take pictures inside due ro rain...they were very helpful. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend. Rooms were clean. GREAT location.
