Great views, great food, great rooms, great ambience. We are somewhat of high level travel junkies, having traveled most notably on the Four Seasons private jet around the world tour. We arrived on friend's recommendation after visiting Moab which has gone from killer good to Disneyland in miniature. We could not get out of Moab fast enough. Gateway Canyons is...

Positives: the geographic location is pretty spectacular. The sights are amazing, the property has an otherworldly beauty because of its landscaping and situation. The rooms are well-maintained and clean, as is the rest of the property. However there is a major management and staffing problem at this hotel that needs to be improved. We would never go back nor recommend...

Great resort tucked away in the canyons on western Colorado. Fantastic staff was well beyond expectation. Beautiful rooms to fit the whole family. It was a great educational experience with many opportunities to learn about the local geology!

This review is a little overdue. We travelled to Moab and Gateway, Colorado for Spring Break. We found this resort on the website "No Ordinary Resort and decided to try it out. We were at the resort for the off season, so it was pretty quiet. We were able to mountain bike, swim, take a jeep ride, utilize the theater,...

Our long drive through beautiful Colorado ending at Gateway Canyons set us up for a wonderful 4 night anniversary getaway. We stayed in a beautiful, large Casita which had our own outdoor hot tub, fire pit as well as private outdoor shower. The Casita became our private retreat & we found it hard to say goodbye on our last day....

The drive to get there makes it worth the trip in itself. The location is stunning. The rooms are great. The staff are super helpful. There are tons of activities or just sit by the pool and soak in the view. A real treat.

We were so impressed with the property, our lovely suite and the very attentive and sweet staff. First I must give credit to Diana Jameson in sales & marketing, she is a jewel to behold, her communication, kindness and overall wonderful spirit had me loving GCR before we even arrived. Fell in love with Pedro from Ecuador at the front...

Terrific luxury getaway property. Located in the Unaweep Canyon about 45 minutes south of Grand Junction. Hiking is the main event, supplemented by geologic interest. Stayed over the Thanksgiving time. Wonderful buffet event. Spa was small but very satisfying. Super Hot Stone massage by Diana.

The grounds were absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing. Just the drive up there will get you relaxed. The staff was attentive to every need and on top of everything. The spa was absolutely wonderful. I will be back for the spa experience again.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, including an amazing auto museum on site. The staff are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the resort and the history of the area. Accommodations are luxurious.
