This was a last minute trip leaving from Salt Lake City at 3:30 am on Amtrak! Sounds hard, but it was lovely...so quiet that time of night. We got a sleeper, woke up to a hot breakfast in the dining car and by noon we arrived in Glenwood Springs, just a few steps from the resor

While I'm sure others treat the resort as a destination, which it surely qualifies, for us, it was a nice stopping point. The really nice part was that it was open for Thanksgiving, including breakfast (thanks very much to the hotel staff that worked that morning). Being the da

This is a very nice place. It's fairly simple and straightforward as far as hotels go. I wouldn't call it a resort myself - so if you're thinking of something "grand" this will disappoint you. But. It is directly across the street from Glenwood Hot Springs, and included in the ho

Staying at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort hotel. I have two questions about steps from 6th street down to the pool. How many steps down to pool level on the East end where the sulfur smell is quite evident? How many steps up to 6th street exit from the pool level? Thank you in advance for answers.
I believe if when leaving the resort you make a right turn you can then walk to the other side of the pool (diving pool area) and the continue to walk around to the pool entrance without having to navigate any stairs. So you would be walking in a counterclockwise direction to the pool entrance vs. a clockwise direction when going by the sulphur pool.

Can children go into pool? I have a 2 year old and want to be sure he can go in. Also, do they close the pool for weather related reasons? We’re traveling through Colorado and Utah in November. I want to be sure they will not be closed.
I saw many children in pool . But I would suggest calling Glenwood they are very helpful. If you stay there price of pool is included and there was also a free hot breakfast 😋

I’m bringing my daughter and her friend for my daughter’s birthday. Is there any birthday packages?
I have no idea; but, as per my review, just make certain you're getting totally correct, accurate, up-to-date information from whoever you spoke to. That was our problem.

"If you want to indulge in a SUITE, don't do it here. Just a regular room with 5 walls, so it's an odd shape. That's it."
"king room with a patio"
"Be nice to be on the 2nd floor, in the front, overlooking the pool, but anywhere will work."
"Odd numbered rooms have a city view and balconies."
"All rooms are good. Ask for a room facing the pool area for a view. All rooms have a small balcony."
