This lodge is very rustic, but very clean. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They have free boats you can use around the lake and the night we stayed, they built a beautiful fire and the moon was full. We had a wonderful time hearing their story of how they became the lodge owners... More

Our family of four, with one dog, stayed in two adjacent cabins. The accommodations are not deluxe but are comfortable. The other guests were very friendly, and the management seems very relaxed and easy to deal with it. Our dog loved the place and made lots of canine and human friends. There were a couple of dogs that appeared not... More

Thank you for your review! We have always loved that North Shore is outside of Grand Lake Village- close enough to enjoy the shopping, bars and additional restaurants in town, while avoiding the congestion that happens during high season. (There are several restaurants close to the lodging, too.) We regularly work on different parts of the property, with the aim... More

We stayed in the newly remodeled couples cabin 7 on the lake. We were able to bring our dogs and had the place to ourselves; we had a great time even though it was off season. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, the place is clean and a close drive to downtown Grand Lake. The water level of the... More

Thank you for your review! We are very excited to have done the remodel on North Shore #7. It was great to switch it around so there's now a big window with a view like we have in the other deck rooms. We're glad you enjoyed it and look forward to your future visits! More

I kindly asked them to refund some of my money because this is not lake front (see pic)! They ignored my email. It was about a mile of mud but lake front prices! Non communicative, will ignore you when problems arise! No water craft use due to mud pile and never told us. Most disappointing trip ever!

I'm sorry, but I did an extensive search for an email from you and did not find one. We typically respond within two hours of an email and ten minutes of a text or call. We state frequently and clearly that Lake Granby is a reservoir and water levels vary. The process for filling the reservoir is complicated and under... More

We stayed two nights at North Shore Lodge on the lake. We stayed in room #2 and had a great view of the lake each morning and had a great time sitting around the campfire at night roasting smores. You can walk right out the back door and go canoeing in one of the provided canoes, or bring your own... More

When we were guests at the property many years ago, it was lovely to stay at a place on the water and have a wonderful view of Lake Granby and the Continental Divide. Still, we were a little envious of people who had their own watercraft to take out onto the water- it looked very inviting! We're so pleased to... More

Thank you! We can typically respond to guest needs very quickly, as we're only a couple of minutes from either property. We welcome texting as well as phone calls to make things as convenient as possible. North Shore is open year-round and there are always things to do in the area. The summer wildflowers are amazing and RMNP is of... More

The room was very clean & comfortable; a nice location on shore of Lake Granby; very accommodating owners; it was nice to find a clean & comfortable room affordably priced that allowed us to bring our dogs.

We stayed at North Shore Lodge for four nights along with other family members. We had 4 of the cabins/rooms booked. I have to say it was a great stay. Thank you! There have definitely been some improvements made in the 5 years we've operated North Shore Resort and its sister-property, Mountain Lakes Lodge.
